Elmar is a large four hundred year old period cottage complete with a massive Inglenook fireplace and bread oven situated in a quiet village location tucked away next to the ancient parish church just a mile away from the sea. The cottage comfortably sleeps four guests in two bedrooms. Its character features, wood burning stove and quiet location make it an ideal romantic retreat for couples, including those who want to bring their dog away with them. Two pubs, two restaurants and a general store/Post Office compliment the village. Cubert is well located with easy access to Crantock beach, Polly Joke and Holywell Bay. The cottage is lovely and I felt it was prettier and better furnished than the photographs suggest. The location was better than expected, in a historic setting with all of the beaches and attractions that we knew from previous trips to Perranporth and Newquay easily...More

Cosy well equipped pet friendly cottage with prior arrangements we were able to take 3 well behaved dogs. The enclosed garden is about 15 feet from the back door so not able to open the door to allow the dogs out but garden was well...More

The beaches at Crantock, Holywell and Polly Joke are all walkable and offer great swimming and surfing as well as fantastic headland walks over National Trust headlands along the Coastal footpaths.
