Numerous good restaurants, coffee shops, delis and supermarkets have multiple options for the discerning guest.
Flora, indigenous or for dry regions can be found in the largest cacti garden in the southern hemisphere just outside Robertson. This is well worth a visit.
Neighboring towns like Bonnievale, McGregor, Ashton and Montague are all within 30 minutes’ drive from Hook Shot Lodge and Hook Shot Manor.

Wir hatten dieses Haus 5 Wochen gebucht. Das Haus ist sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Wenn man aber selbst kochen möchte, muss man schon Eingeständnisse machen. Es gibt /gab zu wenig Töpfe, Teller, Schüsseln. Eldas Mann ist sehr freundlich. Elda - die Vermieterin - ist sehr geschäftstüchtig. Wir haben schon weit vor dem Bezahltermin bezahlt. Trotzdem mussten wir für 1 kaputte Kaffeetasse 100 Rand bezahlen! Außerdem wird man darauf hingewiesen, dass man nicht zu viel Strom verbrauchen sollte. Der Geschirrspüler müsse nicht immer laufen, man könne auch mal so abspülen. Die Klimaanlage trauten wir uns nicht anzumachen.Zudem wurde uns zugesagt, dass wir - da unser Flug später ging - noch bis ca. 13.00 - 14.00 Uhr im Haus (oder im Nebenhaus) bleiben dürften. Kurzerhand aber nahm Elda noch eine Buchung an und komplimentierte uns sehr schnell aus dem Haus. Da waren wir doch sehr enttäuscht.

Stunning house on golf course
This is the second time we stayed in this beautiful house. It is on the golf course with a beautiful view. Nice inside braai and boma outside. Stunning interior with only the best appliances. Everything is 5 star!!! Will visit again!

Best accommodation in Robertson for any wedding parties
Wow I don't know if I can really describe this place in only a few words! Its definitely one of the most beautiful places I have stayed and the estate is just gorgeous!!
We used this home as our bridal party base and I could not have asked for better. The place is so modern and has everything your heart could possibly desire! 4 amazing bedrooms, a fantastic braai area/patio and a fully kitted kitchen so you can cook up a storm.
Elda was amazing to deal with and nothing is too much trouble for her.
I can't wait to return with my family!

Fantastischer Aufenthalt
Wir hatten 2 tolle Tage in der Unterkunft. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar. Der Kontakt zu Elda war sehr nett. Ein luxuriöses ausgestattetes Haus mit einem traumhaften Ausblick. Wir freuen uns auf das nächste mal.

Excellence repeated.
This is indeed a fantastic house. it was our third time and it is still as good as the first time. Everything you could possibly need in a vacation rental. Extremely clean. Elda is the perfect host. We definitely hope to be back next year.

Luxurious gorgeous house
We loved our stay in this high end luxurious house. The space is gorgeous and flows beautifully, so it's perfect for bigger groups staying together as there are plenty of places to relax.Sitting outside at the fire pit with the mountain views and beautiful lawns of the golf course was a real highlight. And the location is fabulous too, close enough to town and surrounding wine farms. In short, we had the most wonderful stay and would definitely return,

Beautiful and tasteful retreat on a magnificent golf course!
Spent two very relaxing nights at Hook Shot Manor. The Manor offered all the luxuries and conveniences and more. The Manor is elegently decorated and spotlessly clean.
The hosts were warm and welcoming, making us feel very much at home. When visiting the Robertson area in future we look forward to staying at Hook Shot Manor again, and would recommend it to our friends and family.

Back and as perfect as ever...in fact, better
We were determined to return to Hook Shot Manor. so much so we rearranged our holiday to fit around the dates available. And we are so very glad we did.
I didn't think you could improve on perfection but you can. The addition of an awning outside is very welcome.
As ever the fitments and fittings are superb, the beds and pillows top notch and the house and views... Oh my.
Husband played golf, I was a willing buggy driver. I got half my next book written, and did some edits. We read a lot, visited my favourite winery, Springfield, for some Life From Stone, and could have stayed longer.
Roll on next time!
Thank you Elda for giving us the opportunity to revisit. We will be back.

Beyond our expectations
Very thing about the Manor is first class. Wonderful facilities, great kitchen and utensils, every kind of dish, plate, excellent bathroom with spectacularly furnished, bedroom spacious and very peaceful, great view out the windows bur far enough off the fairway to not be a bother, very attentive and helpful hosts who personally ensured our stay was a success. We are from Canada and have travelled extensively throughout the world. The Manor is in our top 5 places to stay

These remarkable guests went to great lengths to become part of our town and community while staying at Hook Shot Manor for a second time . They joined societies, clubs and ate where the locals do and mingled with inhabitants on the Estate. Thank you for the very positive review, attitude and energy . Another new top option on Silwerstrand golf estate
So stylish, so spacious! The house has everything you‘ll need. Spotless clean. Wonderful linen. Comfortable beds. Very good security. And very friendly, caring hosts. We‘ve stayed at Hook Shot several times: always home away frome home! We love the place!!!
