Rutherford is a small, suburban community, home of the great American poet, William Carlos Williams. Just 5 minutes from Met Life Stadium and 20 minutes to the heart of Manhattan, Rutherford has great restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, gyms and many historic, Victorian homes. Great bistros, grocery stores and specialty shops abound in the area. Lots of great public transportation within quick walking distance. Skiing is an hour away; golfing 10 minutes away. There is so much to do in this area, we couldn't possibly list it all! If you want the Manhattan experience, it's right here. A dining cruise up the Hudson? It's here. A trip to the country or shore is a 45 minute to hour drive, some of it very scenic. Manhattan is to our east, cool towns and country to our west, and the shore to our south...something for everyone. Because we have lived in Rutherford for a long time, we know our way around Manhattan and New Jersey and are here to assist you navigate to wherever your heart desires. We want you to spend quality fun time and to avoid needless traffic! The Empire State Building and NYC skyline grace our street view. Parking will be tight during Super Bowl, so we are fortunate to be able to have three off street parking spaces. Rutherford is hosting a Winter Festival which will be great fun for residents and visitors alike.
