Beachfront location surrounded by National Park with the Whitsunday Islands out front, however not suitable for those seeking shopping and abundant cafes. This 3 bedroom home is situated 40 kilometres from Mackay airport , 10 kilometres from the township of Seaforth and the bowls club and approximately 1 kilometre to closest golf course and resort. Three bedrooms, 2 toilets, open plan living areas with wrap around secured deck and enclosed rear yard suitable for small dog. A small piece of paradise, with abundant birdlife and fishing. Turtle hatching in the early hours during December/January is a must see. All linen supplied, bring your own bath and beach towels

This is a wonderful home in a wonderful location. So relaxing, I don’t want to go home. The fishing hasn’t been terrific but has provided several meals. The owner has been very helpful and responsive. The cleaner Bec is also lovely. Who couldn’t love Sea...More

Not a bad word to say about this beautiful house. Such an amazing location with just a few steps to the beach and a fabulous view. The owners were very accommodating and the house is well maintained. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

About the neighbourhood
Double carport available for parking that boat and car/caravan etc. Ball Bay is situated just north of Mackay with a beautiful unspoilt beach. The area has approximately 100 houses and is nestled between the popular tourist area of Cape Hillsborough and Haliday Bay which offers a beachfront golfcourse and resort. Airlie Beach is approximately one hour north by car. Local Bowls club with meals available at Seaforth as well as tennis courts, BMX track, general store and service station.
Fishing off the beach or in your boat, golfing and bowls nearby if that is your interest or just lazing on the front deck with a good book. Our family of Curlews usually arrive each morning, as do the whistler ducks seeking food offerings so 'Just relax' at the beachouse.
Getting around
Hire vehicles are available from Mackay airport if arriving by plane as a vehicle is necessary to get to the Hibiscus Coast which is where Ball Bay is located (approximately 45km from Mackay, see driving instructions)

Airport: Mackay airport: 45.0 km
Railway: Mackay: 43.0 km
Public transport is not available to Ball Bay or surrounding areas. When driving follow the Bruce highway north of Mackay for 20 km then turn right at the Seaforth turnoff which is just past the Leap hotel. Follow the road through the range for approx 18-20 km and turn right at the Cape Hillsborough Ball Bay turn off. Follow the road and turn left at Ball Bay turnoff and drive to beachfront then turn right (Ward Esplanade) and take 2nd turn on right which is Sivyer Street and house is first on the left with 32 on the letter box and double carport and garage fronting the street
