The wing,forming part of the main house,the scene of a historic battle,provides a wonderful holiday opportunity. Just four miles from the beach at Poppit Sands,near St Dogmaels,itself a lovely estuary village with shops,pubs and tea rooms and a little further to Cardigan,with its feature castle and eclectic mix of establishments to visit. Coastal lovers will marvel at the seaside villages in either direction,providing boat trips and plenty of wildlife watching too,and a short drive takes you to the Preseli Mountains,a must for walkers. Many other attractions are nearby such as Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort,Cardigan Island Farm Park,Vale of Rheidol Railway and the Cors Caron Nature Reserve to name but a few. The dining area looks out to a very pleasing and sunny vista,perfect for a hearty breakfast or a romantic evening in. Half way up the sweeping stairs on the half landing there is a handy separate WC,then up to the first-floor where you will find two bedrooms,one a spacious super-king-size with shabby chic furniture and a king-size bedroom,both with the benefit of en-suite shower room and WC. Outside there are large enclosed grounds with a mixture of lawns,fields and woodland and ample private parking for two cars. More
