Cottage
Garden Cottage is a quaint and tranquil barn conversion, located in the heart of the beautiful Northumberland countryside. The cottage boats beautiful views near and far. The cottage has many windows which takes great advantage of the beautiful surroundings; looking on to the peaceful country views, court yard and paddocks. We also have an occasional barn owl. The hot tub is surrounded by decking and looks over our horse paddocks. Things to note: - The sitting room, kitchen and bedroom are very spacious. - The bathroom is downstairs and is a very small wet from, with toilet, small sink and well powered shower. - The hot tub is a manual, wood fired hot tub which guests are required to light and monitor. - The garden is usually shared however; during Covid-19, the garden is kept private...Garden Cottage is a quaint and tranquil barn conversion, located in the heart of the beautiful Northumberland countryside. Cosy beautiful cottage

This cottage is just divine. It was lovely and warm in a bitter March. The hosts were lovely and were happy to show me the horses and stables, which was unique and very welcoming. I would definitely recommend everyone to stay at this wonderful cottage

Beautiful cottage

Beautiful cottage in a prime location for country walks 😊 Cottage was spotless, cosy and well decorated. Hosts were super friendly and were always happy to help. 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone 😊

About the neighbourhood
We are in the heart of northumberland countryside, located a few miles off the A68. We are local to consett, Derwent reservoir, Blanchland and Corbridge to name a view. You can also visit places like northumberlandia, Hadrian’s wall, Lindisfarne, beamish museum as well as high force waterfall falls. We have a local ice cream parlour which sells amazing, home made ice cream.
Getting around
We are 20 minutes from Newcastle airport and 5 miles away from stocksfield train station however, it is recommended that you need your own transport.
