About the neighbourhood
The Barrabool Hills were historically the region's Prime Farming area with the fertile soil yielding productive crops and with close proximity to the Port on Corio Bay, it has always been tightly held. Many historical farms are still operating and vineyards have gained in popularity. It offers the perfect environment to relax, surrounded by working farms to observe and the wild life and nature to enjoy.
How to get there
Avalon Airport is only 35 minutes away. You may choose to hire a car from there after a flight. Waurn Ponds Railway Station is 20 minutes from BHR with pick-up. When travelling by car to Geelong access Barrabool Road from the bypass road at Belmont Ceres turnoff & turn right over the freeway. Follow the Barrabool Road to Andersons Road. We have the Australian flag flying at our gateway.
