Making family meals was easy in the well stocked kitchen. Everyone loved having s'mores on the lovely deck with a grill and fire pit, stocked with wood. Idyllic getaway!

The cabin was a quiet get away from the bustle of the city. It was amazing to step away and enjoy nature.

Exactly as advertised and had everything we needed, including ice! Perfect spot to feel remote, but nice and close to Ely to explore town and surrounding area. They kids got to wander off a bit and feel like they were exploring. Nice patio/deck for an evening drink, when the bugs allowed. Working with Gary couldn't have been any easier!

Out in the woods near BWCA. Beautiful night sky! About 15 minutes from Ely.

Although there is not a view if the lake from the cabin you can take a path to the lake. A Canoe and life jackets were available to use and owner was very friendly and available.

This lovely and well-stocked, cozy cabin is easy to find, well-located if you want to get away to peace and quiet. Star-gazing at night is amazing here. Great space indoors and a lovely back area with firepit, picnic table just welcomes you to the beautiful white pines, flora, fauna and the occasional deer. Communication with owners was very good. I did have my two small dogs with me. The pet fee states $20 and second pet additional $20 per night. I was charged for $20 per night per dog. So that was a bit confusing. I am glad I brought extra cash as I was not expecting to pay that much. Their wording could be clearer and hopefully they correct that. Other than that our stay was most delightful.

If you've ever wanted quiet, this place is great. Three miles of gravel road into a dense forest near a lake, the isolation and natural sound insulation means that the distractions of your normal life can't reach you here. The satalite internet is fast enough that you can watch shows on the smart TV, but I recommend you take a night to just absorb the relaxing atmosphere. Cozy and clean, tidy yet welcoming, this simple house is elegantly designed to be a safehaven from stress.

We very much enjoyed our stay! It had everything we needed. We will stay here again.
