Location was perfect.

We had a great stay at this property in Ely! It is conveniently located one block off the main street through town and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The only thing I would caution is if anyone in your group has mobility issues, all the bedrooms and shower are up a steep flight of stairs that does not have a railing and has low head clearance. Other than that, this is a great place to stay in Ely. I’d book it again!

This is a great house in an awesome location. I especially enjoyed the sauna downstairs! The bed I slept in was SO comfy....that by the end of my stay - all of my back and hip pain was gone. (I have scoliosis) I took a pic of the mattress (Purple), and am going to buy one for myself. Thank You!

Well the property is very spacious. It advertised dead bolt locks and there are none. The back patio door would not lock and the contact person could not help. There is a fuel oil pipe in the basement(which smells like mold) that runs across the top of the floor. You must cross that to get to the sauna and washer and dryer. Window shade missing in living room, tv only works if you have a streaming service on your phone. Stair case is very steep and open. In the shower upstairs there are open electrical wiring(a bit dangerous in my book. Not a place for us seniors. Contact person was nice but of no help. Only stayed one night out of 3. I did receive a refund for the two days but the additional fees were not reduced.

Stayed here after rustic cabin-ing in the deep woods and it was a relaxing weekend of recuperating! Great location to walk into town (b-berry festival was going on) and around Miners Lake. Sauna in basement with shower was great!

We were in Ely for a baseball tourney. The Ely baseball field has a the feel of a small minor league park. This house was perfect for doing things in Ely-- just one block off the main street, fit our 2 adults and 3 teens well. Nice clean and spacious house with no issues. Ely is a great small town in a beautiful part of the Minnesota woods, just off the BWCAW.

Very clean and wonderful property. We loved the Sauna..2nd time we have stayed. Highly recommend

House was fairly comfortable and conveniently located. Driveway was not plowed which made parking and unloading difficult. Oven did not work. No coffee pot or teapot.

Conveniently located in town to access down town shopping and restaurants, Rustic mid 1920’s home, very comfortable. Sleeps six unless someone is on the couch. Sauna felt awesome at the end of the day. Does need a a little more TLC.
