It was nicely decorated mid century modern, but the couch was very uncomfortable for watching tv. As we are an older couple the only bathroom downstairs (steps were very narrow and steep) to go down in middle of night to use restroom was a problem. The air conditioner could not keep up in over 80 degree weather. Would suggest curtains on windows to help cool house on west side of home. It’s an older home and has a lot of charm.

It was easy access to all of the downtown businesses and all in walking distance. We have a little bit of road noise from the highway nothing to really bother.

Very welcoming! An assortment of goodies was left out for us to enjoy for our stay. Charming, cozy, clean. Great location in Ely. Owner was timely in correspondence and answered questions. Would enjoy staying here again!

Beautifully appointed property. Spotlessly clean. Spacious for two, and incredibly comfortable. As others have said, kitchen was well appointed (but where WAS the soup ladle?) We noted the fact that the only (lovely) bathroom was downstairs from the bedrooms, but it wasn't any issue, although the infirmed might choose another property. As also mentioned, there was road noise, but rustled up a fan in the (cleanest I have every seen) basement, and that did the trick. The back bedroom had a soft mattress, but oh, that front bedroom had a wonderfully firm foam mattress. I LOVED it! The holiday decorations were appreciated and so well done. Only suggestion I might offer would be a soft nightlight in the bathroom.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Convenient location on the edge of town within walking distance of coffee shop, restaurants, outfitters and more. Quieter and more private than expected. Creative use of space with a variety of cozy spots to comfortably hang out. Adorably decorated and extraordinarily clean. Thank you for the lovely special touches to welcome us. We will definitely stay here again—hopefully with our dogs next time!

My husband and I would highly recommend this property. The house was the cleanest home we have stayed in through VRBO. The home was comfortable and well decorated. The back deck was a lovely place to eat dinner outside or play cards. The location was great for walks to the downtown shops, as well.

What a hidden gem!! The decor is adorable, convenient walk to town, safe street parking, all the amenities to make this a top notch stay. Thanks for opening your beautiful space to us!
