Great cabin that both my husband and I, and our girls LOVED! Great view and location to check things out and take a break. Rustic yet modern with loads of charm! We will come again!!!

It was lovely, peaceful, and just what we needed.

This unique place had great views and sunsets and plenty of room and was well equipped. It seemed very quiet and private but yet there is a nice restaurant within easy walking distance and other homes nearby. We really enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the surroundings. The hosts were very helpful and available by phone. It's also an area filled with fun wildlife in a forest setting.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cabin in the woods! It was cozy, good amenities and exactly as described. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Very happy with the property and location. Served as our base while visiting our son at Vermillion Community College. Definitely a quiet winter location, and beautiful, to relax in between outdoor winter activities.

This cabin/cottage is the perfect up north vacation rental! It is placed in an amazing location on the hill with breathtaking views of the lake (even in the winter). It is super cozy and very tastefully decorated. They have everything you would need to relax and enjoy yourself. Owners are extremely helpful and accommodating! We loved this place!!!

We stayed at the cabin in mid October. It has so much history and character. Even with the additions and updates they have stuck with the original charm which we really appreciated. We enjoyed sitting in the sun porch enjoying the view of the lake. It’s located on a small bay with a view of the islands that you can go and explore. The only downside for us was that there wasn’t more of a view of the lake. It’s really close to town so you can walk if you want to and the weather permits. We did a few hikes which were beautiful, visited the International Wolf Center and the Dorothy Molter Museum. Norther Grounds is a fun quaint spot to stop into. We went in for lunch and found they also have a wine/beer tap bar so we stopped back in after our hikes. Insula’s has great food. We had the chicken pot pie and the walleye dinner which were both very tasty.

Much smaller than it appears on line, non-the-less, comfortable and cozy. Wish I had known about the availability of the pontoon boat sooner. The bikes were nowhere to be found. I will look forward to my stay next summer, but would probably not book again.
