The stay was nice and cozy. It was a little difficult to find necessities for cooking, we had to buy a few things, and the couches in the living room were broken, probably from other guests. Otherwise, it was a beautiful place, great lighting and cozy atmosphere.

I can’t express how much we enjoyed the stay. The weather was super cold and the house temp stayed very nice and cozy, we had lots of towels to use and the water pressure was very good. My son and I went sledding in the driveway, one of the neighbors lent us a sled to use, very friendly:) We went snowmobiling on the frozen lake, it was a very great location for all our needs. We will rent again in the future:)

We had a wonderful time staying here. It was perfect for our group as we had a few families together to celebrate Xmas. The kitchen was great to gather in and we had fun with the ping pong table downstairs. It was very clean and decorated nicely.

Great location on a very beautiful lake. The house and as exactly as described. Wonderful, large kitchen that was well stocked. Large master bathroom with double headed shower. The ping pong table in the basement was a great hit. Since we went in the fall, it was pretty chilly but there was plenty of chopped wood for fires and the house had indoor heating that could be adjusted - which was appreciated. Each main area also had a TV and multiple streaming options which was great to relax and watch some Halloween movies. The lake was so gorgeous and crystal clear for several feet down. House is conveniently located near Grand Rapids and several public trails/hunting areas. We had a great stay!

We were absolutely satisfied with the quality and functionality of the property. Kyle does a great job communicating everything you need to know to take full advantage of the amenities. Everything was exactly what we expected with Kyle's assistance. The lake is beautiful with its brilliant blue color and clarity. We enjoyed beautiful weather. The house has a great layout with large kitchen that is well decorated, we loved the eating area with view of lake. Also nice was deck right off the kitchen. All in all, the family had an awesome week. We would recommend to anyone looking for a nice location for a family location.

This is a beautiful house inside. Very well done and updated. Kyle was an exceptional host. We had a fantastic time and the lake was so quiet and clean. Born and raised in MN and family in the Grand Rapids area and I had no idea we had lakes this beautiful. The yard was perfect for games. Lots of great family memories were made at our time at this property. We will certainly be back. Recommendations for future travelers: Bring some chairs to sit by the fire pit. Don't worry there isn't a dining table inside. Use the back steps/door to bring in/out luggage ( front steps are steep ). Clean the grease trap before you use the grill :-) AND most of all remember you are on vacation and you picked the perfect place!

We stayed for a long weekend and had a great time. The house is beautiful and entirely remodeled with comfortable bedrooms, new bathrooms, beautiful kitchen and a huge master suite. The lake frontage and dock were perfect for the kids... from splashing around by the dock to wakeboarding. Sugar lake is beautiful and this is a beautiful home. We wished our stay could have been longer.

This was a wonderful cabin and location for our family to enjoy one of the most beautiful lakes in MN. Appreciated having bedrooms on all three levels, especially having teenagers. The kitchen was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Our host, Kyle, was excellent with pre booking questions and then throughout our stay. The house was well maintained and we had everything we needed. We loved the large kitchen and lake/dock access. Lake activity was quiet due to the time of year, which we enjoyed. We managed to catch many walleye as well as a perch, a couple northern and bass. We met all 3 neighbors who were very welcoming. We highly recommend this Vrbo!
