About the neighbourhood
The Old Joinery in positioned in the centre of the Gower peninsular, 3 miles west of Swansea. It's the perfect jumping off point to explore the Gower and further afield. A flat tarmacked path starts within 300 metres of the house from which you can cycle or walk in safety and ease into the City of Swansea, or out to Swansea Bay, Mumbles, Limeslade and Bracelet bays. We can provide more information and suggestions for suitable activities on request.
How to get there
Make the most of the visit by arriving from 4pm on Friday. For visitors from further afield it's useful to know you can get from the M4/M5 junction near Bristol to the Old Joinery in 1:30hrs (or less with no traffic on the roads). You can take the M4 all the way to junction 47 and avoid coming through Swansea. It's not the most picturesque approach to the house but definitely the quickest- time to get settled in before the weekend starts.
