This is a warm, cozy cottage. With snow, you may need 4-wheel drive. We have stayed multiple times and always in winter. best to arrive during daylight. We will return. Great restaurants in the area.

Well appointed home (third bedroom is in the walk-out basement) in a very quiet, woodsy neighborhood. Lake access with quite a steep descent to a very small beach. We kayaked but did not swim because of the weeds - which I know doesn't bother everyone. Enjoyed the outdoor firepit. Within easy reach of many wonderful things to do in the Berkshires.

Very rural setting but close to nearby locations - Great Barrington, Stockbridge, Lee, Lenox. Very comfortable accommodations. Everything we could possibly need and more was available to us. Annie was very responsive to questions. Traveled with our small dog - easily able to gate space so she had plenty of space to roam without access to entire house. Would definitely rent again!

This is a very comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood accessible to a beautiful lake, outstanding hiking, and a fun town. Highly recommend.

The house was situated on a quiet dirt road off the beaten path - perfect for our dog to be off leash. Lake Buel is clean - great for swimming & kayaking. Easy to get to everywhere in the Berkshires.

We really enjoyed our stay - location is great. Close to Great Barrington, Lee, Lenox. 45 minutes from Jiminy Peak. We came in May, and it rained constantly. The fireplace made for such a cozy spot. We hit the Lee outlets, went out to eat in Great Barrington and Lenox and enjoyed the Norman Rockwell Museum. The house has a fire pit and comes with 2 kayaks - it's a 2 minute walk to Lake Buel. With the rain we couldn't take advantage but we would love to come back. We enjoyed walking in the greenery and the quiet-Annie is a great host and I would love to rent her property again.

We enjoyed our stay, loved the location, and were appreciative that host Annie was quickly responsive to the few questions we had. Highly recommended all-around!

This house was close to Butternut which made it very convenient for us! Love the location. It's also close to town. The home was very cozy and we enjoyed the fireplace and outdoor firepit as well! The house had everything we needed and more!
