Fantastic home and a better host! Deb was in close communication and the house was very clean and inviting especially with the bakery cookies and muffins. The location was near to the wedding venue and , even better, close to the Falls. We hope to go back for a longer stay. Thanks for a wonderful stay Deb!!

Peaceful escape in the woods, nestled among the trees. Clean property, tastefully decorated, very comfortable, child friendly, and easy communication with the host. Couldnt ask for more!

This was our second time at the Birdhouse and we just love it. Peaceful snowy woods, fire in the wood stove, cooking a great meal in the kitchen, ghost stories in the cabin. Comfortable, clean, and relaxing. Totally recommend!

We had an amazing stay at the Bird House for 2 nights. It was roomy enough for 4 adults, 4 kids and 2 small dogs. The house was clean and enveloped by snowy woods. With the roaring fire (and plenty of wood stocked) it was so cozy and serene. In addition to being close to Butternut where our kids (and adults) love to ski, we spotted coyotes from our window and the kids spent hours outside by the small cabin playing in the snow. We will definitely stay again!

We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend here, 3 generations (grandparents, parents, college students) and our dog. The house was exactly what we needed -- warm and inviting space for hanging out and a fully equipped kitchen that suited our needs for the big dinner. In fact we ate all our meals in and found the kitchen easy to work in. Aside from eating, the beds and couches were comfy, place was spotlessly clean, the property is just stunning -- mature pine trees and a gentle creek that you could clearly hear from the deck. We appreciated the special touches Deb provided, such as my special requests in the kitchen and also cookies & milk on arrival. Deb was great to work with, responsive to my texts and always made me feel welcome. We'd love to come back!

The Birdhouse is spacious, clean with many scenic views into the Berkshire woods. My family and I stayed here for a long weekend and we enjoyed having a cozy HQ for Berkshire activities. Thoughtful and functional amenities inside and out.

Location is special place. This place was right up our alley being out in the woods but still close to amenities. Loved the decor and surrounding property We had an awesome time and hope to return next year.

Perfect conditions for 2 families to enjoy a weekend of r&r together. We are 4 adults and 4 younger teens. The Birdhouse is as advertised- nestled in the woods and a great spot to do as much or as little as you’d like. We chose to spend most of our time on the property, enjoying the fire pit, cozy lounging inside and a few short walks to the nearby falls and nature reserve. The home was well stocked for cooking meals and amenities as advertised. We did venture to a local orchard for apple picking and had delicious sandwiches from the Southfield Store. Breakfasts were cooked at home, including locally farmed bacon and sausage from the New Marlborough General Store. Deb and Tony were available and extremely friendly. It was a nice touch to arrive and find fresh cookies and milk waiting. We wouldn’t hesitate to return! Thank you for your hospitality!
