Our beautiful cosy cottage is an ideal place to stay for a family, friends or couples. Yourself and your guests will have a memorable time in this quintessentially english cosy cottage, with lovely decor in the historic market town of Henley on Thames.

The cottage is located in a very quiet neighbourhood a 5 min walk to the central Market Square, very popular pubs, and all the many shops and restaurants. The train station is a 10 min walk away, which is perfect for anyone visiting from London, or Heathrow/ Gatwick. Trains to central London are 1 hour, and 70mins to Oxford.

You really don't need a car to enjoy a weekend in Henley. You can walk everywhere, and the area is best enjoyed by foot, as it is very scenic, especially discovering the footpaths around the River Thames.

About the neighbourhood
The Holy Trinity CofE Church is beside the house, read more about it here;

Since the Holy Trinity church was opened in 1848, it has been the focal point of worship in the parish. During this period the world has seen much political unrest and social and economic change, including two world wars. The church has provided parishioners with a centre of fellowship and spiritual refuge.

The building of the Holy Trinity church was completed in 1848 at a cost of about £2,000. The original church was rather like a large tunnel, the door was on the north side facing Greys Hill and the ventilation was poor. From London/Heathrow Airport: Take the westbound M4 towards South Wales. Leave the M4 at Junction 8/9 to join the A404(M) signposted 'Henley'. Leave the A404(M) at the third exit onto the A4130. Follow the A4130 into Henley.

From Bristol/South Wales/The West: Leave the M4 at Junction 10 to join the A329(M). Follow the signs for 'Reading'. At end of the motorway, follow signs to 'Henley' which will take you via the A4. Join the A321 and go through Wargrave. Join the A4130 just outside Henley. Turn left into Henley over Henley Bridge.

From London/Oxford/Birmingham using the M40: Leave the M40 at Junction 4 (High Wycombe). Follow the A404 signposted 'Marlow/Bourne End'. Leave the A404 at first exit and go into Marlow. Follow the A4155
