This serene retreat offers the perfect spot to appreciate Maine's pristine shoreline. The chalet is conveniently located near various attractions and dining options. Just what we were looking for.
We couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay at. The cottage was very cozy, clean, and the owners were very nice and helpful. If your looking to get away and stay by the water then this is a great place to go. Other than food we needed to bring ourselves, the cottage was fully stocked with just about whatever we would need. It was like a home away from home. If we ever visit Maine again and want to stay on the coast, then we will definitely be back!

Beautiful!
We have stayed at many rental homes and this is one of the best if not the best. The home is beautiful, clean and has everything one would need. The view is quintessential Maine and the Tuppers were so kind and gracious. The area has all the wonderful sights and art. We wish we could have stayed longer and plan to be back! Thank you for sharing your home!

Little Gem
We found the cottage perfect for what we were hoping for. It was private and peaceful. We enjoyed the close proximity to Drift Inn Beach and Port Clyde. Our family of four fit in the cottage. It was well supplied with beach chairs, all the things you would need to fix meals and an awsome view. We hope to visit again.

Cozy cottage by the sea
We loved our week at the cottage! Craig and Jill were great hosts - helpful and responsive, but not intrusive. The cottage itself is cozy, clean, and impeccably well kept. It looks out on Mosquito Harbor, but don't let the name fool you - we encountered surprisingly few mosquitos! The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed cooking and grilling several of our meals while we were there. Other reviews complained about the bed, but we actually found it to be perfect for our slightly older backs that need support. We loved sitting outside watching the sun set, star gazing, and enjoying the birdsong in the mornings. There was plenty to do nearby. Port Clyde is just a few minutes' drive for coffee, friendly locals, a couple of restaurants, galleries, and a well-stocked general store. We loved taking the ferry to Monhegan and also enjoyed a wonderful puffin/wildlife cruise one afternoon. Rockland and Camden are an easy drive away with more galleries, the Farnsworth Museum, light houses, etc. The cottage was just what we needed for a quiet, easy vacation.

Lovely cottage - Beautiful, quiet location
We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Hupper Cottage. This is an ideal getaway for any couple looking to enjoy summertime in mid-coast Maine. It is located on a quiet inlet that is picture perfect, and is an easy drive to the Rockland and Camden areas. The cottage is fully equipped, including wi-fi (that worked perfectly), cable tv, comfortable bedding and seating space. We will certainly consider a repeat visit in the future.

Picturesque and Peaceful!
Just returned for the third time from this charming cottage situated on a picturesque cove. Our week could not have been more perfect! The weather was ideal with amazing sunsets and the cottage is absolutely perfect. Everything one could want is there including board games, books, a grill, tv, lots of pillows, blankets and such tasteful decor. The queen and twin beds were all great and the livingroom/kitchen furniture was wonderful. Our hosts, Jill and Craig are nearby and helpful but in no way intrusive. We hope to return for a fall getaway. Do not miss this idyllic spot!!!

KUDOS to the owners for taking action
The bed was like sleeping on the floor and the love seat needs a new base. Thankfully there were numerous pillows and blankets to put on the bed and extra cardboard on the love seat to make them somewhat semi-comfortable. I had bought my wife an inflatable kayak for our anniversary. But there is no apparent way to safely get it into the water. My wife was so totally unhappy with the bed mattress and love seat she wanted to cut our losses and leave the first night, but i finally convinced her to try to make it more comfortable so we could try a little longer. KUDOS TO THE OWNERS FOR TAKING ACTION TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEMS. They have stated they have ordered a new mattress and love seat as a concern for the comfort of their future guests. To all future guests you can be impressed by the owners' response to any problem you may have during your stay. Everything else about the cottage was great and you can be sure of a great vacation.

Donald , when I greeted you upon your arrival I told you if you had any questions or needed anything to let me know. We never heard a word from you during your entire stay. There is an easy kayak launch, and we have a soft mattress topper for those who prefer a soft bed. Next time your having health issues I would suggest not traveling and taking your discomfort out on your host. Your issues could have been avoided.

Perfect!
This cottage hosted by Craig and Jill Hupper was the perfect place to spend our time in Maine. The cottage was great for the two of us, but could easily fit a family of four comfortably. It was appointed extremely well with everything needed for our stay. Super clean and well maintained grounds. The view and sunsets were awesome. Morning coffee on the dock and afternoon cocktails on the lawn. There are a couple of general stores and restaurants nearby, and the ferry to Monhegan Island is a few minutes down the road. (Take the early boat to have plenty of time to really see the Island). This cottage really became home to us. we were sad to leave, but our stay was wonderful and we hope to return another time. Thank you Craig and Jill.

Cozy little cottage with a 5 star sunset.
This cottage is perfect for a couple. The bedrooms were immaculate and comfortable, with plenty of pillow choices, fluffy towels and blankets for the chillier evenings. It's located within a brisk walk of Port Clyde, the Marshall Point Lighthouse, and a lovely rocky beach on Drift Inn Road. We ordered fantastic burgers and sandwiches from Ancho Chili, and steamed some mussels that we'd picked up at Jesse's in Rockland - about a 15 minute drive. Our hosts were very accommodating, and were also very respectful of our privacy.
