Summer weekly rental available at Ocean Park Meadows Condominiums, 2 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths, fully furnished townhouse with washer and dryer and all linens included. Bright modern kitchen with all new appliances and a separate eat-in dining area for 6 persons. Large comfortable couch in living area which looks out over the pond and fountains. Nice deck with outdoor furniture and gas grill is set off of the living area. On the next level the Master bedroom has a comfy king sized bed and the 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed and bunk beds for kids. Both bedrooms have t.v's with cable. On this floor is the full bath with tub-shower combination. Well maintained property in an awesome location!
This condo is a short walk to the beach, easy to get set up and go back and forth to eat lunch and use the facilities. The beach in this area of OOB is quiet and not crazy crowded.
The walk to the Pier is about a mile, which is manageable, or you can take your car up and spend a couple bucks to be much closer.
The kids had a great time on the beach, and the pool at Ocean Park Meadows is a really nice amenity. Gave all of us a break from the beach when we needed it.
The people were really friendly, and Kathy was super to work with. Linens are included with the rental, which is a big plus. One note is that the unit is not serviced with air conditioning; however there is a whole-house fan, and window fans that kept it comfortable on all but the hottest nights.
The only thing I would mention is that this is an upstairs unit, with year-round neighbors below. Our kids tend to get up early, and it was a challenge keeping their footfalls and voices quiet enough not to disturb others.
Overall a great experience and an awesome vacation! :)

About the neighbourhood
There is so much to do in the area besides the beach and the pool. There is great shopping in outlets both North and South of the area. Besides the local OOB attractions, close by there is a water park and also a larger amusement park with it's own water slide area. There is also a local drive-in movie theatre which is also a step back in time as well as many cinemas around the surrounding towns. Historical downtown Portland is only 20 minutes away and of course you have the whole eastern seaboard to investigate!
Getting around
The most convenient way to travel is by car but we also have the DownEaster train that goes further north as well as south to the Boston area.
