I hesitate to write this review as I would really love for this magical vacation home to be available whenever we are lucky enough to visit. We had a wonderful stay in what I would call paradise. The home is lovely and the beach location incredible. Goose Rocks Beach is the ideal spot for a relaxing and tranquil get away. Abigail, thank you for allowing us to have your house as our home for our stay. It was amazing.

The beach here is so wonderful. We stayed in October, and although one day during our long weekend was rainy the beach was so perfect. We came to celebrate my grandmother-in-laws birthday - she wanted to be right on the beach and go for walks everyday and this house was perfect for that. The beach is sandy and goes on forever. We found a ton of sand dollars. The house is definitely bare bones - the living space is a little cramped for 6 people and the TV was very small and had some discoloring to it which was a little tough for our older family members. The toilet in the master bathroom would make a loud filling noise every 10 ish minutes because the flush valve seal needs replacing. And the family upstairs had two children who were constantly running around, yelling for mom, slamming doors. The noise really does travel, especially kid noise when they seem to be playing leap frog in cement shoes. Probably not as bad in the summer when you're spending all day at the beach but in the off season when you're stuck inside on rainy days it makes doing a puzzle much less relaxing! But all and all we had a good time!

Check in was super easy and the house was very clean. It was the perfect place to unwind. All the amenities needed. Sitting in the Adirondack chairs facing the ocean sipping coffee or wine with a book was the recipe for relaxing. The weather was perfect and the beach was awesome for walks! We will be back!

The biggest advantage and the biggest disadvantage...
The biggest advantage and the biggest disadvantage are the same: the distance from Kennebunkport and Ogunquit. If you want essentially a private beach, quiet (except for the surf) and no crowds this is the place and Goose Rocks will not disappoint.
Loved the sunrises and the fire pit. Absolutely the best.

Ocean front property looking out on Goose Rocks Be...
Ocean front property looking out on Goose Rocks Beach. We stayed in the lower unit for a long weekend. Communication with the owner was a breeze. The place was clean, comfortable and well maintained indoors. Outdoors, the sandy beach was just steps away, and we loved sitting under the stars around the fire pit. Only downside is the lack of soundproofing between lower and upper unit.
