River Whisper is a beautifully crafted homestay overlooking the Periyar River. Situated in the picturesque village of Kongorpilly, just 12 kms from the city of Kochi.
An ode to the simplistic essence of Kerala, the house bears elements of contemporary and traditional architecture.
Making it an ideal basecamp for families and larger groups looking to explore the city, the seaside heritage sites of Fort Kochi-Muziris-Kodungallur, the backwaters of neighbouring Alleppey and the cultural offerings of nearby Thrissur.
Guests can choose to rent out the entire house or pick their preferred bedroom on a room tariff basis.

Absolutely awesome place to visit !!!
Nice place for family friends and couples to chill out. Very well maintained home , amazing home made food and the peaceful environment is what we enjoyed the most.
I would love to visit again with my family and hopefully stay for a much longer duration

Awesome experience and wonderful host.
Would like to come again for a family get together as the place is very silent and beautifule.The food was amazing and the hospitality also was out of this world.

Excellent place
Great place for family/ friends get together or for people coming to Cochin for shopping or sight seeing. And also wonderful hospitality. Would love to visit again.

Amazing Homestay in Cochin
A very good home stay in Cochin, From the time we entered we felt like at home.
The home it self is beautifully designed in Kerala architecture style with a large drawing and dinning area and 4 rooms (with modern amenities) overlooking the adjoining river flowing by the house. Beautiful view or the surrounding and the greenery in the house.
The owner of the home stay Mr Jaike, himself is very courteous (and always smiling) along with his staff Shiva & his wife who take care of the guests very well.
I liked this home stay very much and would recommend it to others as well who are looking at a good and peaceful stay

Best ever home stay at Aluva
This is the best ever stay I’ve been. The home has a beautiful vibe of tradition and scenic views. The host was literally so kind and easy going, we being a bunch of bachelors had no idea that the hospitality will ne so good. The staff were so kind. Food was excellent. I Highly recommend 💯

A home away from home
Neat and excellent property with nice premises by the side of backwater. China net fishing can be watched very close. Fresh breeze and quite surrounding have given us very relaxing atmosphere. The staff took care of us and served freshly prepared food as per our choice. Mr. Jaike took care of booking procedures and staff Shiva & Girija attended us so friendly and homely. We really enjoyed the stay. Recommend highly.

Really awesome experience
This is one of the best homestay we have ever stayed.
Excellent infrastructure with perfect view and ambiance. With very caring and lovely service by Shiva (caretaker)and family.

Excellent stay
Every year my school mates get together for a reunion. This year we chose River Whisper as we had heard such great things. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and hospitality of the hosts. They made all the dishes we requested and the quality was exceptional. We would recommend this home stay for families and reunions. The scenery was breathtaking and the tranquility was divine.
