Quiet and Beautiful
Spent 3 nights at the tree house. Beautiful location and hosts were available and quickly responded to texts but not intrusive at all. The bath house was a little further than a football field, maybe more like 3 football fields and the trail cameras that were pointed at the front door and the entire back of the house were a little annoying. You could see the lens of the camera in the back of the house from the loft in the bed (no curtains on windows). It felt like we were on big brother or something. If you go in the winter time there is an additional charge for wood. But the quiet and peaceful calm of the woods were perfect and exactly what we needed for a few days away from reality.

A unique experience -stay in a real treehouse!
Kentucky Climbers Treehouse
This is a private, small tree house for grown-ups and families. It was built by Pete Nelson from the TV show Treehouse Masters. There are videos available on YouTube. My husband and I stayed here in June 2017. This is a semi-primitive building. There is no water or plumbing. There is an outhouse close by and a shower house with indoor plumbing, a full size shower, sink, and toilet near the front of the property. There is no electricity or heat & cooling unless you use the generator they provide. They have several lanterns and candles for lighting and a small wood stove inside. It has a comfortable king size bed in the loft and the sectional couch on the main floor turns into a bed which can sleep kids and/or adults. There is a camp stove and a small bar for cooking and serving which is quite efficient. They supply basic pots and pans, dishes, mugs and cups, silverware, garbage bags, paper towels some water, and linens for the loft bed. A nice deck surrounds the house on three sides and includes a gas grill, patio table and chairs, and Adirondack chairs for relaxing. The thing we liked the most was the quiet. The only sounds were the birds singing and the wind in the trees. I don't recommend going in the heat of the summer unless you want to use the generator. We chose not to use it because of the noise. This is a very unique experience great for couples who want privacy and quiet. It is very rural so you will have to travel quite a ways if you want any activities. But if you want the peace and beauty of the outdoors, the only activities you'll want are relaxing and perhaps hiking through the woods.
