This property is a little gem in the best location. The house is perfect, the Tiki was amazing and kids couldn’t get enough fishing and swimming in! We enjoyed everything this house had to offer and the communication with Andy and Sara was great! We will be back most definitely.

Beautiful country property, great fishing and wate...
Beautiful country property, great fishing and waterplay for the grandkids. Owner was just a text message away for any problems.(we didn't have any, everything was set up and ready). Enjoyed Holiday world which was minutes away, Lincoln park, minutes away, and mamoth cave about an hour away. With 5 grandkids age 2 to 15 the cabin brought the very peace me and the wife needed.

Beautiful property !
Caught many fish, watched turtles, deer , toads n skinks. Took rides in the golf cart. This grandma even swam from the dock to the Tiki bar with my nephew, he jumped off the board, I watched ( 😁).
We grilled, got in the hot tub, the most enjoyable get away I’ve experienced in a long time. Family friendly, would definitely recommend. Andy and Sara were such accommodating hosts and always quick to return communications.
Will definitely return, family loved it so much we hope to make it a tradition.

This property was exactly as listed and described and more! The ease of fishing, swimming, and kayaking was what made this trip. My 14 yo enjoyed sitting around the fire each night, my 12 yo loved being able to wake up and immediately go fishing since there was an easy place to keep his supplies right by the dock, and my 8 yo enjoyed learning how to kayak. We all enjoyed the tiki dock since there was a floating mat you could lay/sit on. There is only one bathroom but even with 4 adults and 4 kids it was easy to take turns (we were in an island state of mind and didn’t need to rush anywhere). The gravel driveway could be a concern if you don’t have a front wheel/awd vehicle-but it is also what makes this place so peaceful. We would definitely stay again-in fact my kids didn’t want to leave for a few more days and neither did we.

This place is awesome! We were welcomed with a bottle of local wine & snacks! Our reason for the trip was the Spirit of Jasper Dinner Train (highly recommend!) The cabin was exactly as shown except the pics don't do justice of the outside area! The leaves were just showing colors. The hot tub was a plus as was the golf cart. We took a tour of the property; Tiki Bar is so cute! I caught a huge bluegill & lost a big catfish! The inside was comfy & well supplied. While we did not cook, they had everything you would need! Owners were very helpful. Food at the near by New Boston Tavern is a must. Monkey Hollow wine is awesome too! Thanks Andy & Sara for an awesome stay!

Highly recommend Lakeside Cabin. Only 15 minutes from Holiday world. Spent 2 days at the park and one day at the property. Was really only in the cabin to sleep, eat and get ready for the day. Our grown kids had tons to do with fishing, kayaking, swimming, etc. The golf cart was definitely a perk. Enjoyed the peaceful scenery and everything about the property. Will definitely stay here again.

We were in the area for a wedding at Matilda’s eve...
We were in the area for a wedding at Matilda’s event center, which is only a half a mile away! The Lakeside cabin is amazing. We will definitely come back for a family trip. Plenty to do lots of amenities and very secluded. We absolutely loved it!

Great place to stay for a quiet weekend on the water. The house itself was on the small size but other then that no complaints. The house was stocked well and we needed nothing while we were there. The wine left by the owners was a nice touch. Owners were very accommodating. Would recommend and stay again.

We enjoyed our stay very much and everything was as listed. We loved having the golf cart and we lost count on how many fish we caught. The tiki bar was so much fun when we swam in the lake. The floating mat was great to have! We also loved having a fire every night. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us!

Within an hour of arrival we knew we would be back...
Within an hour of arrival we knew we would be back! This place is beautiful and so relaxing. We had four kids with us, one high school, two middle school, and one elementary aged. All four had the very best time! We kayaked, swam, fished, cruised around on the golf cart and had fires by the lake. It was a perfect getaway and we can't wait to book another stay at Lakeside Cabin! Make a reservation, you won't regret it!
