Entering the cottage you will find the main living area to the left,the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is on the ground-floor of the property and offers a cosy sitting area,TV,and DVD. The kitchen breakfast bar to the right provides dining space,the kitchen itself is equipped with an oven,hob,microwave,fridge with ice compartment,and washing machine. A door from the sitting room gives access to the property’s terrace,where you can take time to sit and enjoy breakfast or a meal. Open-tread wooden stairs lead to the first-floor bedroom,a double room,with its own TV,and en-suite bathroom with shower-over-bath and WC. Outside,there is a private,pretty plant-filled covered patio terrace to the rear of the property,which has a table and chairs for guests to enjoy alfresco dining,or perhaps just the tranquil surroundings. Bere Alston pleasant town, very friendly. Couple of convenience stores (friendly staff), a bakers, take away and pub/hotel (a very warm welcome, the whole pub makes you feel like you live there and not a holiday maker) does a great full English on a Sunday...More

An out of the way place, still within easy reach of all the beauty of the moors. Comfortable cottage with all amenities, dog friendly and a wonderful host in Dorian.
