Our 2021 season commences on 30th April.*** Oxford Riverside Glamping provides an opportunity for a truly rural getaway, yet only 4 miles from the city of Oxford. Luxury camping within a park like setting. Situated within its own grounds adjacent to the River Thames pathway and with the historic city of Oxford nearby, Oxford Riverside Glamping is the ideal location for a relaxing break, romantic weekend away, or as a base for exploration. Each bell tent sleeps up to 4 people, with a central double bed and two easily-erected single camp beds that are folded up and tucked away out of site. The central double bed is dressed with pillows, duvets and crisp white bed linen, but we unable to provide bedding for the camp beds unless in an emergency, so you will need to bring your own should you wish to utilise them. The tents are also equipped with rustic furniture, rugs, and a candle chandelier (as well as other lighting). Electric heating is installed in each one of our bell tents. Hot water bottles and extra blankets are also provided for those cooler nights, but we do advise that you bring some warm clothes just in case! Outside each tent is a seating area and fire pit, which can be used for all your cooking needs. Simply relax and enjoy the gently setting sun. We do ask that you bring your own food and drink, torch, towels, bathroom essentials and a good book! Everything you should need for cooking and dining (cutlery, crockery, pans and utensils) as well as lighting a fire (logs, charcoal, lighter fluid, lighter and matches) are all provided for you either in your tent or elsewhere on site. Just a short walk from each tent, there are ladies and gents toilet and shower facilities, as well as an external wash-up area. There is also a covered cooking area with three gas-powered ovens (just in case weather conditions mean that you are unable to use your fire pit), communal fridges, a microwave and toaster. If you would like to charge devices such as mobile phones and I-pads, there is the means to do so inside your tent. Parking is free. Bookings from ‘Hen’ parties and other large groups of adults can be accepted on the condition that they hire all glamping accommodation and utilise the entire site. Please enquire for more information.More
