Great apartment; modern, comfortable and very well equipped. We loved our stay and visited lots of interesting places in and around Lake Windermere. Our hosts were very welcoming and provided us with lots of information which made our stay problem free. Thank you!

Excellent family apartment - modern, spotless and comfy.
Just back from the loveliest of weeks at Watch Tree Apartment. Super modern, comfy & spotless & very well equipped. I loved the window seat over looking the river, perfect place to read and have a cuppa. The apartment is in a great location - really quiet and well kept apartment block but only short drive to Barrow for all the hustle and bustle. We took our paddleboards and were really glad to see we were only a five min drive from a launching spot at Fellfoot park. We have two kids under ten & they loved it too. Steam train and lake ferry were a big hit. Would def book here again. Fact that Steve and Jayne communicate so well you can tell they want everyone to have a really relaxing holiday. Fab stay.

Perfect
We really enjoyed our stay at watch tree apartment at the Ironworks, Backbarrow.
The apartment was very clean and everything we needed was available.
The location is perfect for exploring the south Lakes and is a short walk away from the Lakeland motor museum and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite steam railway.
Excellent communications from the owners who provided lots of useful information prior to our visit.
We would definitely stay there again.

Cumbrian hideaway
A lovely bright, modern apartment which was very clean, comfy and a perfect base for exploring the Cumbrian coast and the Lakes.
We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks break at the Watch Tree Apartment. During our stay we managed to explore along the Cumbrian coast also visiting the RIbblehead viaduct, Foulshaw Moss nature reserve (saw the Osprey's) and Walney Island beach & reserve at Barrow.
Another particular highlight was, being able to walk down the lane from the apartment (ten min stroll) and take a nostalgic trip on the Haverthwaite steam railway, followed by a connecting cruise on lake Windermere to Bowness.
All in all we can recommend the Watch Tree Apartment for a relaxing stay or as a base to explore the region. The owners Steve & Jayne are a text away should any problems occur and are extremely helpful.

Beautiful little apartment. Fittings and cleanliness are top notch. The apartment has everything you might need and the bed is lovely and comfortable.

Wonderful apartment!
What an amazing apartment! We had a lovely week here. The apartment is beautifully decorated, all the fixtures/fittings are top quality and the bed was extremely comfortable (well needed after a day mounting biking!) the hosts were excellent - provided lots of information before our trip and were on hand to answer any queries we had during our stay. We would 100% recommend this apartment and hope to be back again ourselves sometime soon!

Just lovely
What a lovely apartment, great view over the river and beautifully decorated and the hosts are great and have thought of just about everything.
We had a nice walk down to The Swan, the steam train tooted by and we sat by the river and watched the world go by, fabulous weekend.
