Cottage
Ultra luxury, ultra unique, one bedroom, one bath cottage. Great location on quiet residential dead end street with duck and fish pond at end of street about 200 yards away. From the house enjoy strolling down to the duck pond to feed the ducks, fish or many turtles. Lots of large majestic Georgia oak trees and palm trees on the property and street. Just added, an outdoor shower! Wash off the beach using the outdoor shower. The location of this cottage is ideal being 1 1/2 miles from the beach and pier / light house and 1 mile from Sea Island. Also, very close to Harris Teeter, movie theater, great restaurants and shopping. Makes it perfect to ride bikes anywhere (bike path is less than 100 yards from cottage and goes all around the island). Cottage is approx. 850 sq feet including a full ...

The perfect mix of luxury and beach fun!
The punctuality on responses from the owner was great. They gave us all the pertinent information to ensure that our stay was perfect. They had recommendations for things to do, places to eat, and experiences all over the island. The property was decorated perfectly and the photos do not do justice to the wonderful accomodations. The cottage is roomy, comfortable, and the shower is wonderful! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and everything was full size. There was a Keurig with all types of coffees and teas for our use. There was complimentary wi-fi. The helicopter fan and the sliding "barn door" were among the unique things this place has to offer. This is a great place for couples or small families. The dead-end road with the duck pond offers a great sense of security and something to do on lazy afternoons. The location is close to a Harris Teeter and several shops. There are multiple restaurants and a movie theatre within walking distance. The walking/biking trail is right in front of the house, and the beach, pier and lighthouse are a nice four mile bike ride. The bikes provided were wonderful! Staples of the island like Southern Soul, Starbucks and Fuse are within just a couple of miles and easily accessible by bike. Jekyll Island, Driftwood Beach, Savannah, Jacksonville, Sapelo Island, Darien and the outlets at Pooler are all good day trips. There was nothing that we did not like about this place, and nothing the owners did not think of!

Wonderful, cottage was charming and location perfect!
We had a wonderful stay and the one question we had was taken care of promptly. We loved the layout and the furnishings and decor added to the "St Simon" getaway I had been dreaming of all winter! Going to one of the recommendations turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip, Skippers Seafood! Being so close to everything is a real plus, we can't wait to come back!

Lovely Cottage
The pictures really don't do this place justice. It is immaculately decorated. It's in a great location and grocery stores and restaurants are close by. You could actually walk to many stores. There is a cute pond at the end of the road from the house. They even have HBO, which is always a plus. They provide you with everything you need: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, robes, wifi, a multi-USB charger, etc. They have a Keurig for you coffee drinkers. My only issue was that I wished they had a bigger selection of pots to use to cook. Other than that, this was a lovely place and I would stay again.

Magical Beach Cottage!
I brought my son and daughter, ages 9 & 11, here for a family vacation. As soon as they saw the cottage, their eyes lit up! I say magical because you feel transported. It is so beautifully decorated yet at the same time it's still fun and inviting. Amy and Tom have really thought of everything. We had bikes at our disposal, as well as boogie boards. There are bike paths all along the island and I wish we'd been able to explore more but the weather was a bit too temperamental during our visit to do that. Amy and her daughter were very kind and helpful and got an inflatable mattress set up for my son, as well as offering us directions and helpful tips. The location was great. A good 5-10 minute drive to anywhere you wanted to go on the island, be it the beach, movie theater (for a rainy night), shops and restaurants. Overall we had a really lovely stay despite us having to leave early. We sincerely hope to come back again and enjoy it even more now that we know our way around SSI!

Wonderful place to stay
This "tree house cottage" looked great on-line and was even better in person. We loved everything about this place - beautifully decorated, incredibly clean, and wonderful location. The bikes were an added bonus and were perfect to ride around Saint Simmons Island. We would highly recommend this place and the owners were super nice. We plan to return!

Adorable, comfortable, welcoming cottage!
This "treehouse" cottage is wonderfully decorated, in a convenient location close to beaches, restaurants, and bike trails, and is a little oasis all on its own. We enjoyed meeting the friendly owners, playing with the neighborhood bunnies, ducks, and turtles, and soaking up the great St. Simon's relaxing way of life. The cottage had everything we needed for a great stay. We borrowed beach chairs, and bicycles were also available for use. We will definitely visit again! Thanks for a wonderful stay. We loved every minute of it!

Cute mid-island location.
Modern, convenient to grocery and restaurants, quiet. Must drive to beach. Would like to return for a longer stay. Friendly owners.

4-Day Stay at Luxury Cottage
The luxury cottage was an amazing place to stay - four days wasn't long enough. It's beautiful and cozy and needs to be seen in person to appreciate how beautiful it really is. The Owner's thought of everything possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The bike path is very close by and shops and restaurants within walking distance. We had to drive to the pier and beaches but that only took a few minutes. This was our first time in SSI and we feel we made the right decision to stay at the luxury cottage. Luxury cottage
The location and accommodations are perfect. Convienient access to beaches and shopping. The duck pond was fun to visit and only 100 yards away. The cottage is nothing short of wonderful. Everything you need is provided. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.
