Romantic get-away, a stone's throw from Sunset Beach. Scandinavian Interior. ' Strandhytten' (The Beach-cottage) has sleeping facilities for 4. A queen size bed in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa for 2 in the living room The kitchen is a new Ikea model. The cabinets are completely full of dishes, platters, cutlery, pots and pans. A large refrigerator with icemaker, glass top stove, microwave oven, toaster oven and an electric coffee pot makes this kitchen totally complete. Linen and towels are included. You can relax in the sun and water all day and cook a good dinner or go out to eat in the evening. Treasure Island is known for the many restaurants serving local or foreign dishes. Deep sea fishing and para-sailing are other activities among too many to mention. If you like to gamble, there a casino ship which sails out into International waters and provides a wonderful buffet of numerous dishes. A dinner and dance ship will also take you out for a wonderful evening. Our guests tell us that this is:'Paradise Found.' The International Airport in Tampa is one hour drive from the Island. Busch gardens in Tampa is a Zoo but different in the fact that people are driven around in cages and the animals are free in their natural habitat. Disneyworld, Universal Studio, Sea World etc. are located in Orlando;, a two hour drive from Treasure Island. The Peace and Quiet., the Sound of the waves, the beauty of the landscape and the Heavenly Sunsets make you feel like you are close to Paradise. You can sit and meditate on the Beach or walk 3/4 of a mile North and you will find Cady's on the Beach, where you can dine in your bathing suit. Beds: 1 Queen Bed, 1 Sofa BedMore

Perfect for a quiet getaway!

Diamond in the rough!

This little cottage was amazing! And the owners were just as precious as they seemed in the emails. I will definitely be going back!

Best trip ever!

This particular area is a place where people can have a 'Summer Vacation ' all year round. In other words: Endless Summer. The west coast of Florida has a long string of barrier Islands stretching along the coast and connected to the mainland by bridges. Parasailing, waterskiing etc.; we can offer anything you want in water sports. If you want to dress up at evening time, we have several hundred places you can dine either in an evening gown or shorts; whatever you prefer. If you want to swim with the dophins or manatees, you can do that. If you want to visit real Native Americans, the Seminole Indian Reservation is located East of Tampa.
