Located .8 miles from shopping and dining, guests are able to walk or take a short bike ride to the shopping center which features several restaurants, a grocery store, gift store, nail salon, a liquor store and bar. 1.2 miles north is the 27th Avenue Beachfront Park which features a basketball courts, racquetball courts, a play ground and several picnic pavilions. The Surf & Racquet Condominium is also 5.5 miles north of the Canaveral National Seashore, one of the finest seashore parks in the country, A 57,000-acre national park nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River, the Canaveral National Seashore is one of the longest stretches of pristine coastline in the United States. Many threatened and endangered species find refuge here, including sea turtles who nest on its shores. Within a short drive south is the Bethune Riverfront parking featuring a fishing pier, tennis and basketball courts, beach volleyball court and playground. JB's fish camp is also a short 4 mile drive south and offers some of the best fresh seafood in town. Kayak rentals and paddleboard tours are also available at JB's. The Surf & Racquet Condominium is also within minutes of the main shopping and dining districts on 3rd Avenue, Canal Street and Flagler Avenue.
