The property is a beautiful newly upgraded-apartment, originally part of a large detached house. It has stunning sea views and lies just a few minutes walk from a sandy beach, town centre, play park and promenade. The property comes very well equipped, with a range of modern appliances and neutral décor. It's a true home from home. Its mostly suited to couples and families of 1-2 kids but can take a family of 5 as there is a childs fold away bedchair and plenty space for a travel cot in the bedroom or living room The living room is equipped with a flat screen Smart TV that has Freeview and a DVD player - with Netflix. There is lounge seating for 5 and a round dinner table sitting at the bay window, overlooking the bay. There is lounge seating for 5 and a round dinner table sitting at the bay window, overlooking the bay. A single guest bed, (m&s) with a pullout bed underneath, sits in the far corner of the room. The centre piece of the room is the traditional coal and log fire that can be used if desired, In the kitchen we have a newly installed fan assisted oven, a ceramic electric hob and a fridge with a small freezer. There is also a kettle, toaster and washing machine for guests to make use of. The master bedroom houses a double bed, wardrobe, side tableand a large bay window with a window seat with views out to the Isle of Arran, Bute and Mull of Kintyre. The recently refurbished bathroom has a brand new white bath and separate shower cubicle with Mira sport electric shower. There is also a box room which is used mainly for storage . A high chair or travel cot can be provided if desired Wifi (unlimited) is available throughout the flat (which is free) and there is a garden(shared) at the rear of the property. Use of drying washing lines The property is now now a no smoking zone. Small dogs are allowed as long as they have their own bedding and towels - it is kindly requested that guests keep them off the furniture & beds as this involves extra cleaning & therefore extra cost to myself. Cumbrae is a haven for wildlife - seals live in the bay and all types of seabirds nest here from around the world. A quiet coastal road, approximately 10 miles around the island, is safe for walkers and very popular for cycling. Footpaths over the island provide rural walks and panoramic views across the sea. There is a good bus link between the ferry port and the town centre, where the flat is just two minutes walk from the last bus stop at the old pier.

Millport in March
We stayed at 3 Crichton St in Millport for 3 nights. Apartment was clean, comfortable, well equipped and had marvellous views of the Clyde firth. Rhona, the owner, was so helpful and considerate, and her information book is so useful. The weather was changeable, but we found plenty to do. The beaches are extensive, bike shops handy, Garrison cafe and museums excellent. We would thoroughly recommend this holiday home. Thank you, Rhona.

A little bit of Millpuerto Heaven
I had a lovely 3 day break with my sister in this lovely location The flat is wonderful, Everything that you need is provided for you. The views are quite spectacular and if you are looking for a place to chill, it is perfect. Very close to the beach, shops, cafes.pubs.and fabulous Bike Hire shops. Rhona is most helpful and can be contacted at any time if you have any problems. I cant wait to return to my ' Little bit of Heaven'

Perfect wee getaway. Wonderful views
Stayed here a few days Oct into Nov, was hoping for stormy weather but didn't get it. The views are lovely and the flat is cosy and lovely (and ingeniously laid out!) Owner was very friendly and helpful. Peaceful, lovely wee break. Will be back.

Great flat, would stay again
Well appointed flat with everything you needed. Also dog friendly. Very clean throughout. Had a fantastic location and view of the sea. Would definitely book again.

Perfect place to stay
Had a great break in Millport, loved the flat, a real comfortable home from home. The Views were stunning. Would definitely recommend it and hopefully we will be back.

Perfect getaway
This is one of those places you want to keep to yourself as it is perfect. The apartment is wonderfully equipped with everything you need. Spotlessly clean and very spacious and comfortable. It is outstanding value for money the views are just to die for. Rhona is a wonderful host communication was great. We would definitely recommend this apartment and will be planning a return next year.

Absolutely fabulous flat
This is a beautiful flat with stunning views. Highly recommend. The owner is a lovely lady who responds quickly to all enquires and any issues that arise. Well appointed kitchen, lovely clean new bathroom and free WiFi and Netflix tv. The flat is in a beautiful spot with stunning view regardless of weather!

Great Holiday
Great flat very close to all amenities.Two bay windows that gave you a beautiful view. Would recommend this flat. Rhona the landlady was absolutely brilliant and always at the other end of the phone if we needed her. We had a fantastic week

A perfect window into our very own island retreat
3 Crichton Street is situated in a quiet location a short distance from the centre of Millport and the bus terminus. The apartment is on the second floor of a block of 6 flats, The property looks out directly onto truly stupendous views of the coastline and the Firth of Clyde. The neighbours were friendly and a useful source of local knowledge. Rhona made every effort to make our stay comfortable, especially halfway through the week when we experienced a short power cut as a result of our feeding coins into the wrong meter! The flat was well equipped and contributed to a relaxing holiday on this beautiful island idyll. We hired bikes for the week from Mapes of Millport, who were incredibly helpful and provided outstanding value.

There are trains and buses from Glasgow central train and bus stations to Largs where you will find the ferry terminal. Ferries run every 15 minutes in the high season and every 30 minutes the rest of the year From there the ferry to Cumbrae is 10 minutes and then the bus takes you to the centre of Millport the islands only town
