great location, great views, great hosts

Our family of nine (seven adults and two kids) had a very good time at this property. The description of amenities and what the house and location have to offer are all spot on. The owners have really through through all the various needs of a group of folks who want to relax and enjoy a vacation on a pristine and private lake. The kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms were more than adequate for our group - it was easy to cook meals in or drive about 15 minutes to grab a bite to eat in the closest town. All of the lake toys - kayaks, paddle board, canoe - made water fun really easy and enjoyable. Recommend you bring your own water floats and toys beyond what is listed, however. Swimming and fishing in the lake were highlights for our group.

What a great vacation house! We are an extended family of 8 adults and 7 young adults (age 16+) and this house was perfect for a week's stay. The house is super well appointed and has everything you would ever want and/or need. Great indoor and outdoor spaces, fully stocked kitchen and several different living spaces to hang out (and separate when needed)! Would recommend this property without reservation! And I should mention that hosts were very responsive and helpful!

It is a beautiful lake house that is exceptionally clean and well maintained. We've stayed at a lot of different properties and yours definitely stand out. We've really enjoyed the space outside with the family. The lake view is breathtaking! Having private access directly to the lake is amazing. The host did a great job taking care and maintaining the property and very thoughtful on all the details and items provided in the house. It is a really nice experience for the whole family!

From booking to check out, Yellowbird does not disappoint! Jenn has truly thought of everything and set this house up with every amenity you could imagine. We have stayed in many home rentals and this house by far outshined them all! The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated. Again, if you need any amenity from antacids to spices, shampoo to board games- Yellowbird has it all! You cannot beat the view, even though it rained our whole trip no one complained about being cooped up inside with such a stunning view and accommodation. Goshen is a bit off the beaten path, but Jenn provides you with a great guide for things to do in the area. We traveled with two infants and were impressed by how child friendly the main floor is. There are few sharp edges and the stairwells can be closed off with a door. Not something we often think about but when you have two little ones it makes a huge difference to know they are safe outside your home. We cannot wait to come back to Yellowbird again- BRAVA Jenn!

We had a fabulous 3 nights staying at Yellowbird in Goshen! The home was adorable, and the owners were so sweet to coordinate with when. The home is clean, with tasteful decor, and superior amenities (nice linens, soaps, shampoos, cleaning agents, tech / electronics, etc.). Of course, the lake view was superb! An added bonus, given the Winter season, was the close proximity to the ski mountain Mohawk. We would love to return either next season, or even one Summer!

Recently stayed here for a long weekend. The property managers are extremely responsive, provide helpful resources and are very thorough. The property itself is clean, organized and very well kept. The location is quiet, peaceful and serene. There is plenty of space in each room and the bathrooms are large. Highly suggest for a family get away!

We enjoyed a snowy ski weekend away with family and friends at YellowBird. The home is just as described and pictured. Perfectly situation on the lake (and close to Mohawk Mountain), welcoming and clean. The double bunk room was a hit with the kids. The living space was so comfortable, we had a fire each evening and the furniture was comfortable for my parents (in their 70s) and also my kids (ages 3-6). The view makes you feel as though you have the lake to yourself. It was the perfect retreat, and the home host Jenn is super responsive. We hope to return and enjoy it during a different season!
