Cabin Holiday Rental
COLORADO Authentic log cabin located on our 5 acre ranch. Awesome views of the Rocky Mountains and beautiful sunsets. The cabin was re-modeled, after being moved onto our property. It's tiny house nation but the shower easily accommodates a tall person and the porch is large and comfortable. The fireplace is the original stone work but has been converted to gas. One of the engineers of Trail Ridge Road lived in the cabin with his wife during the summers while constructing the famous Trail Ridge road, one of the highest drivable roads in Colorado, over the Continental Divide, which is only open from April to October, a must do if you come. Some of the crew stayed in a larger cabin as a bunk house and It's still in town on 16th/Gay, the original location. Some of the crew stayed in a larger cabin as a bunk house and It's still in town on 16th/Gay, the original location. Over the years it has been used as a guest house for family and friends. Now for you, our guests. Our mom always affectionately refered to it as her gold nugget. She was an artist and several of her pieces appropriately adorned the walls. There are now hanging elsewhere for safe keeping but if you catch one of us, we can show them to you. The cabin sits adjacent to the main house snuggled in a variety of trees. It's quite nice to snuggle in front of the fireplace even in the summer, or enjoy the outdoors on the ample porch in comfortable chairs or lounge in the hammock. There is a picnic table and a gas BBQ available for use. More

We stayed a few nights at Pax Cabin and loved it! It was so cool staying in an authentic pioneer's cabin. It was "tiny house living", but very comfortable. The AC blew cold (which seems kind of rare in Colorado!), there was tremendous water pressure...More

We enjoyed our stay in the cozy cottage. When we were delayed, Billy called to check on us, turned on the lights and unlocked the door for us! The fireplace was such a treat in the evenings and the retro chairs under the trees were...More

We could not have been happier with this cozy and comfortable cabin. It's right next door to the owners' residence, and they were always helpful when we asked questions. They also had small thoughtful items stocked up (for example toilet paper, hand soap, and dish...More

The cabin was perfect. It was close to Estes Park and the Rocky Mts but far enough away from all the crowds. It was very quaint, I loved the inside. I enjoyed sitting outside taking in the peace and quiet. My 8 yr old granddaughter...More
