I recently stayed at the Flying Pig cottage in Los Olivos, a place I can only describe as my personal Shangri-La. After a long, emotionally taxing day, I was in dire need of rest and a space to collect my thoughts, and this place provided just that. From the moment I stepped through the front door, I was enveloped by a sense of tranquility and a sense of wonder. The house was immaculately clean, and the tasteful decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere, a perfect harmony of comfort and style. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens fresh and the pillows plush, making it easy to drift off into a peaceful slumber. Best of all for me, the house was situated in a quiet neighborhood, which was a welcome respite from the city chaos. The silence was soothing, allowing me to rest and wake up refreshed. The host has clearly put a lot of thought into ensuring the comfort of guests. From the well-stocked kitchen to the cozy reading nook, it felt like every detail was designed with my comfort in mind. The jacuzzi, nestled in a black bamboo garden, was perfectly heated and ready when I arrived. The world-class gardens were a sight to behold, and the proximity to live music, 50 wine tasting rooms, Michelin restaurants, and the best local coffee shop practically next door was a major plus. It was worth every penny, offering an experience you’d find you’d find in places like Napa or Carmel for twice the price. My stay at the Flying Pig was exactly what I needed.

We loved our stay at the flying pig. The house was everything as advertised and more. The location is a great spot only two blocks from the main street and five minutes from Mattie’s Tavern where the wedding to place. We would absolutely stay here again.

My family and I had a great stay at the property. ...

My family and I had a great stay at the property. Beautiful gardens and backyard were a huge plus. Beds were very comfortable. Note that the hot tub takes awhile to heat up so we lost a day of using that. Loved that it is literally a 30 second walk to all of downtown Los Olivos. Wonderful location. Thanks for a great stay Jordan!

Wow! Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Talk about the most idyllic location possible! It doesn’t get any better than this! Just steps to the Main Street in Los Olivos where all of the restaurants and tasting rooms are located. We walked everywhere and didn’t need our car once! The house was so charming! There was so much attention to detail from the decor to the landscaping. Absolutely beautiful! It had all the amenities one needs and more! The rooms are filled with fresh flowers and the beds are so comfortable. The outdoor space is magical with so many lovely places to sit and lounge amongst the beautiful landscaping. We will definitely be back and recommending this place to all of our friends!
