We have stayed at this property many times and we always look forward to "next time." It is a quiet paradise, perfect for two couples, well equipped and located in scenic and quiet countryside just outside Los Olivos. Beautiful at any time of the year, and John and Karen are amazing owners to work with. The house is well-equipped and very cozy...complete with wonderful fireplaces. We need nothing more for a wonderful getaway from the city.

This beautiful cabin provided my family with the sweetest kind of reunion possible.
The cabin was well stocked. We didn't have to think or worry about anything.
Everything was in good working order, again taking away any concern or worry. From fireplace to fridge, all worked great.
Beds were comfy, cabin was cozy, and we were happy.
We hope to stay again next Christmas.

The TWO fireplaces, the soaking tub, the authentic log cabin feel...this is a truly magical property--next to a 300 year old oak trees, no less, and so close to town. We loved our stay and will definitely be returning!!

The house and property were very clean and well cared for. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. It's a short distance of the main street and gated as well so it was very private and quiet. We hope to stay here the next time we visit the area!

John and Karen’s cottage in Los Olivos was a perfect get away for our 37th anniversary. Was clean, the beds we’re comfortable and the sheets and towels were great! John was on hand and was there if anything was needed (it wasn’t). Great host!!
We didn’t eat there with all the options in town, Solvang and Santa Yanez, but kitchen was well stocked. We VRBO 3 or 4 times a year and found their cottage to be delightful!
There was a small dog in the area that barked in the middle of the night for a couple hours but oh well there had to be something 😀
Was very neat to wake up to the sounds of chickens. Definitely planning on going again!

We all enjoyed staying here, it's only a 3 minute drive into Los Olivos. Wish it had another shower upstairs in the master bedroom but it all worked out ok. We would certainly stay here again.👍

This cottage was perfect for our stay and we will definitely stay here again in the future! It's in a gorgeous location that feels like you're far away, yet it's really close to the "downtown" of Los Olivos - walking distance. It was immaculate. The cottage is cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed and then some. Highly recommend!

Clean, comfortable and well appointed two bedroom cottage was just what we needed during our three night stay in Los Olivos. Close enough to “town” but still tucked away and quiet. Centrally located to all the tasting rooms and wineries we wanted to hit. And the eggs from the chickens on the property were very tasty.
