Holiday Rental House
Allerton is a welcoming Georgian house and stables set in a lovely, sizeable garden giving the impression that it’s in the middle of the country when, in fact, it’s just off the Main A68 trunk road and only 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of the attractive Borders town of Jedburgh. The self contained Stables are set within the grounds next to the main house and provides an ideal base for one or two people with well behaved pets if required. The ground floor room has a kitchen area, dining table and leather sofa with digital TV mounted on the wall. The wet room is situated off this area and the double bedroom is upstairs in the roof space. Equipment includes electric hob, combi microwave oven, toaster, fridge and all cutlery and crockery. The apartment was nicely decorated and in a good location. The bath might have been laid out a bit better but other than that the property is lovely. The hosts were pleasant as well.

About the neighbourhood
As an important Border town, Jedburgh is packed with history.
