Had a fantastic weeks stay in this wonderfull place.it was exactly as described and to be greated with a box of chocolate brownies added to the pleasure would definitely recommend

Barmouth is a seaside town on the west coast of Wales on the Southern Edge of the Snowdonia National Park.

Miles of Sandy 'Blue Flag' beach, a pretty harbour leading to beautiful Mawddach estuary.

Barmouth is the perfect destination for traditional seaside holidays, walking/hiking, outdoor activity breaks, in any season.
Getting around
A car is useful to see the wider area but not essential. Barmouth Train Station is a few minutes walk away which connects with towns along the coast to the north and south. Direct trains also run to Birmingham and Shrewsbury.

For the more adventurous some of the nest hikes in southern Snowdonia are on your doorstep

By Road: As an example, it will take about 2.5 hours from Birmingham or Manchester. The town is on the A496 which links to the A470 (north/south traffic) and A458 (east/west traffic).

By Public Transport: The Cambrian Coast line, operated by Arriva Trains links via Shrewsbury to the northwest and via Birmingham to London, the south and east. The train station is just a short walk away.
