Just back from an *amazing* week here, and trust me - believe everything you read on TA about this gem of an opportunity! - Pam and Gareth are absolutely wonderful, kind, always have time to explain any aspect of farm life, and genuinely love to enlighten and involve the children in fun activities around the farm. They also gave our 2 dogs full run of the farm, and made them very welcome also!
My daughters loved meeting Bella and Tigger, collecting eggs and visiting the chickens, feeding Sandy the pig, and Pam's horses, and Pam even kindly allowed my younger daughter to handle and transfer newly hatched chicks - she absolutely loved it!
Gareth is a fantastic guy, and again, very open and always happy to chat / show you around, in between his many jobs around the farm!
To be honest, given how busy they are, I was amazed at just how accommodating and friendly Pam and Gareth were, and it was an absolute pleasure to spend time with them, in addition to the obviously unique and fun experience of living in a traditional farmhouse on a real, working farm!
We will definitely be returning, and recommending to friends and family, but may even book their camp site or cabins just a stone's throw away from the farm...
Thank you for an amazing week guys!
Ps - we also found that the farm was a fantastic base to visit other areas from, including Cardigan and Poppit Sands (both literally a few minutes away!), Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park (which we also highly recommend for some fantastic views and seal watching, is just 5 miles away, and is cheap!), and a little further, Tenby and New Quay - In all, we managed to see and do LOADS of things while we were here, and even more we simply couldn't fit in (next year maybe!)...
