Paved private roads extend through the formal gardens of the Estate that are suitable and safe for wheelchairs, pushchairs and young bike riders. We welcome well behaved dogs (which can be let off the lead in the 16 acre Jock's Wood). Kirkennan is conveniently located for beaches, coastal, hill and woodland walks, historic sites, cycling (including 7-Stanes mountain bike trails), wildlife, gardens and other attractions. The gardens at Kirkennan are managed organically.
