The properties at Mochrum Park are in an ideal position for walks through the park and along side the river Bladnoch where we have some of our Salmon fishing the location also makes an ideal base for exploring the region and all that it has to offer. The properties are comfortable for the whole family to enjoy a relaxing holiday whether it is a Spring break, summer holiday or a festive getaway that you are looking for. We have owned the houses since 1986 and have built up a strong clientele that have been enjoying holidays at Mochrum Park for many years. The houses have just recently been upgraded and we are confident that your holiday with us in Galloway will be leave you feeling relaxed and with some fantastic memories. The properties are ideally located in an idyllic countryside location where there are plenty of lovely country walks and an abundance of village tearooms, craft shops a short drive away Recently restored and modernised semi-detached cottage ideally situated for the fisherman by Spittal Bridge and the riverside. Superb river views from most windows. Attractive garden and large car park. Space available here for guests fishing from the Coach House and Lodge. Garden leads to river and the 'Market Pool' one of the best on the river.More

From the garden we watched wild deer, salmon jumping in the river along with rabbits and the odd country fox and a barn owl. Near by there is the deer park where you can feed some deer by hand for free or even better pay...More

I needed a cottage close by to Garlieston to attend a family funeral , this fitted the bill and was pet friendly . Lovely cottage with everything you need , picturesque setting backing the river Bladnoch, great for walks and fishing . Owners are great...More

Thank you for your lovely feedback. We hope to welcome you back some time to the area. For this thinking about staying electric is by £1 coin meter which we fill when you arrive. Coal and Logs for the open fire are free of charge.
