About the neighbourhood
Dumfries & Galloway has abundance of beautiful beaches, forests, hill walks & biking trails. If you enjoy exploring outdoors then you'll love this corner of Scotland. Love biking? Kirroughtree Forrest is part of the Seven Stanes biking trails & 10mins from your door. Get front row seats to the best show in town as you watch the Galloway Forrest sky come to life with stars! Galloway Forest Park has been designated as only the fourth Dark Sky Park in the world & the first in the UK! Enjoy a wee dram? Why not visit Scotland’s most southerly Whiskey distillery, The Bladnoch Distillery, or if gin is your thing, why not take a tour of Crafty Distillery, both less than 15mins by car from your door.
Getting around
The market town of Newton Stewart is a 5 minute walk from your front door. Here you will find all of the amenities you will need to make your stay comfortable including; restaurants, pubs, cafes and supermarkets as well as some lovely independent retailers. To explore the surrounding area we recommend a car or a bike.
