Kelso just has to be one of Scotland's most attractive country towns! Standing at the junction of The Tweed and Teviot Water, the cobbled market square is surrounded by a great selection local shops, galleries, places to eat and delightful river side walks. There's always a buzz about the town with a great variety of events at The Border Union Show Ground. Activities and attractions at Floors Castle, National Hunt Racing, Kelso Civic Week, musical gatherings and the farmers market. Nearby golf courses abound! The Roxburghe Championship Course, Kelso Golf Course and Race Course are just at the end of the farm road! The Hirsel Course and Country Park are only 8 miles away, at Coldstream.
