In an accessible location within Dartmoor National Park, a beautifully appointed first floor apartment surrounded by stunning countryside but in a convenient edge of town location. Self contained entrance, parking space and private sunny garden. The Hide is filled with light and enjoys beautiful views over the surrounding fields, situated on edge of a small development within a couple of minutes walk from the many local shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants that Moretonhampstead has to offer.
A contemporary and bright apartment with everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, full central heating, large comfy bed, Wi Fi, 40' Smart TV & digital radio. We provide a welcome pack and essentials like tea, coffee, milk, dishwasher tabs etc. There is also an enclosed garden for sole use.

Lots of pre visit information supplied. Clear instructions for arrival. Accommodation just as described. This is by far the best apartment I've rented in a long while. Beautifully decorated and situated in a gorgeous and quiet village in one of the most jaw-dropping parts of this island. Absolutely recommended!

About the neighbourhood
For walking or cycling enthusiasts the spectacular scenery in this region is truly breathtaking. There are many cycle routes around the town including the Two Moors Cycle trail and the first phase of the Wray Valley Trail, following the old railway line from Newton Abbot to Moretonhampstead. Along with the heated outdoor 25m swimming pool (open between July-Sept), tennis courts and gym there are excellent golf courses at the nearby Bovey Castle Hotel or Bovey Tracey Golf Centre. Well known for its position as a gateway to the moor Moretonhampstead is also famous for its 15th century church and arcaded almshouses dating from around 1637. Travel by road in any direction across Dartmoor or to the beaches and towns of North and South Devon.
Getting around
There is a regular bus service to Exeter with buses running every hour between 7.30am and 6pm (Country Bus Service 359), and a twice daily service to Bovey Tracey (Country Bus Service 178). For more information and timetables visit their website. The bus service leaves from Court Street Car Park which is just around the corner from the apartment.
How to get there
Moretonhampstead is about 12 miles from Exeter and is easily accessible by road. It's ideally positioned for exploring Dartmoor and the beaches on both the North and South coasts.
