Its vibrant high street, with its range of cafes, restaurants and stylish independent shops is a great place to browse. The beach is at the heart of the town and the charming harbour area, with its pretty beach huts and colourful boats really adding to the seaside atmosphere. Must-see destinations nearby include The Scottish Seabird Centre, The National Museum of Flight, Tantallon Castle and of course, a day trip to the beautiful capital of Scotland. General: This is a pet friendly property - we welcome either a cats or a dogs. There is an additional charge of £30.00 per pet per week, with a maximum 2 small dogs, or 1 medium size dog. Central heating, electricity, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rental price. Parking Free on road unrestricted parking or Imperial Car Park, also free. Public parking in North Berwick can be complex as the rules vary according to season and year to year. We recommend following the signs upon arrival in North Berwick and also advise considering your options for this prior to check-in as it is unfortunately something we are not able to assist with on the day Book Now To make a booking you can book directly through this site. All you need to do is select your dates and the number of guests. The price will be calculated for you . You are required to pay a 20% deposit payment with a minimum payment of £150.00 or higher which secures the property, this payment is non refundable in the event of a cancellation.Then, 42 days prior to your arrival date the balance will be payable with a separate refundable damage deposit of £150.00 due 7 days before your arrival date. Cosy, comfortable and couldn't be closer to the beach
Absolutely lovely! Very clean and comfortable. Couldn't be closer to the beach and had amazing views from the sitting room window. Only downsize was it has all laminate flooring which we and our dog found very slippy - in fairness, given how close it is to the beach this is probably a good idea due to the sand. We're def going to book for next year.

Great break
Great location directly on the East Beach. Very comfortable apartment on the ground floor and pet friendly. We know North Berwick well as we used to live and work there. This suited our needs for a Winter Beach break with our dogs and some golf.

Really nice location
The apartment is well situated for a clear view of the beach and Bass rock. Everthing was as stated plus very clean and tidy. The only complaint we had was that the fire alarms were positioned too close to the kitchen area which meant every time we fried anything the alarms would trigger. But all in all we would certainly recomend for a relaxing enjoyable break.

Great views if you could see them
Parking for the property is opposite rather than straight outside the doors due to double yellow lines. Located straight across from the beach we were hopeful of a fantastic stay. On entering the property, it appeared to be clean and tidy but on closer inspection it clearly wasn’t. There was dust and sand on the floors, the skirting boards were dirty, under the beds and furniture hadn’t seen a mop or hoover for some time. I even found a hair grip and sanitary wrapper under one of the units when I moved it to accommodate my Mams suitcase. The windows in the living room should have afforded lovely views of the beach and beyond, however, they were so dirty it was difficult to see out if them. There were only two hand towels and bath towels as well. I called the number for the cleaner but got no response. The property office where I picked up the keys was closed! The next day we called in and admittedly Gillian was helpful, providing the missing towels and also buying coat hangers as these were limited. She also arranged for the cleaning firm to visit to ‘re-clean’ the property. Apparently they did call as we could see some things had been tidied, but they had not cleaned the floors, dusted the skirting boards or cleaned the windows! Previous clients have noted the fact that the slats on the single beds are not fixed so my husband (my mam has the double en suite) spent most nights with his mattress practically on the floor, this was not rectified during our stay. They are not suitable for grown adults. There was a problem with the oil filled radiator in the bathroom which we reported, again, not rectified during our stay. All in all we were so disappointed in the apartment; on paper it looked ideal, but despite the owner having apparently renovated recently, it is tired, shabby, cramped and dirty, we definitely wouldn’t recommend. Good luck finding the bins, nothing in the instructions on how to find it, only knew as Gillian mentioned it.

I am so sorry you have written this review. The office is open during the week we have an emergency number for out of office hours and so we could have spoken to you on Saturday night when you arrived. Such a shame you did not call me. I acted right away when you came into the office as you have mentioned when you reported the cleaning issues and gave you more towels . We supply a hand towel and bath towel per person but it is not a problem at all to ask for more. We have a spare supply in the office. I am so sorry the flat was not as clean as it should have been . The cleaning company acted immediately to ensure that he property was cleaned to the standard we expect. I am so sorry they did not manage to do the windows for you that week. You mention the bed however , the owner and I are a bit confused as this had been fixed already. kind regards Gillian

Fantastic location

Xmas in North Berwick
The apartment was very clean, tidy and well-furnished. Having been to North Berwick previously, we were not particularly interested in sightseeing but simply making the most of a festive break away from home. For this purpose the apartment proved ideal. It was spacious, warm and contained every amenity and utility we needed to make our stay extremely enjoyable and comfortable. This was admirably backed up by plenty of available shops, restaurants and friendly pubs. A visit to Edinburgh was made easy thanks to the convenience of being able to use the fairly frequent and relatively cheap train service.

Ideal location
You cannot fault the view from this spacious and well-appointed flat, but net curtains obscure it and the general feeling is quite claustrophobic as other rooms have no windows or outlook. As is often the case the provision for cooking is a bit haphazard and it is a shame to request that guests do not leave for their successors basics such as oil, salt, sugar, teabags, etc., especially as there is no welcome pack provided. There is no mobile phone signal in the flat. Access to the town, beach, bus stops, Seabird Centre all very handy; railway station a long trek with heavy bags or in bad weather.

Fabulous wee flat!
A lovely flat in an ideal location. You literally open the door, cross the road and you're on the beach! Big spacious kitchen and a comfortable lounge and bedroom. Near to all amenities. A home away from home!
