This sunny, comfortable first floor flat features sitting room/dining room, and fully equipped designer kitchen and bathroom. It has three bedrooms: one with king-size double bed (which can be separated into two single beds on request!), and two with bunks. Full central heating and oak flooring make it suitable for all seasons. Broadband connection and phone for incoming calls are included in the price. Awarded 4 stars by Visit Scotland. We had a wonderful stay in 35A. The flat is clean, comfortable and very well maintained not to mention in an ideal location, being very close to shops and restaurants and just a short walk to the beautiful beach. We would love to come back...More

The welcoming wood-floored hall accesses the lounge, all three bedrooms and the bathroom. The lounge is flooded with light from two tall sash and case windows. Around a traditional style living flame fire are arranged comfortable armchairs and sofa. For your entertainment, there is a TV with satellite reception and DVD player as well as a radio and CD player. At one end of the room is a wooden dining table with seating for six. Up lighters and wall lamps create a very cosy atmosphere. Off the sitting room is the large kitchen, with designer units, sleek granite worktops and Belfast sink. It is fully equipped and has a double Stoves electric oven, separate gas hob, large American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer, microwave and the usual toaster, kettle etc.,. The twin bedroom has tall windows looking to the front, making it light and bright. Ample storage space is available in the large fitted wardrobes.There is a further bedroom at the front of the property with bunk beds, pegs and a chest of drawers. The third bedroom, at the back of the property, also with bunk beds, has an in-built wardrobe with generous shelves. It also hosts a computer desk with chair and ready-to-use internet connection. The large luxury bathroom offers a deep roll top bath, double walk-in shower, sink and wc with slate tiling to floor and walls. There is a heated towel rail in addition to under floor heating.

Road Directions • From the South: A1 direction Dunbar, then A 198 to North Berwick. • From Edinburgh and the West, take the City By-pass then the A1 direction Berwick-on-Tweed then A 198 to North Berwick. Public Transport Directions • Getting there by railway: train to Edinburgh-Waverley then regular direct train to North Berwick (35 mins). Getting there by aeroplane • EasyJet and Ryan Air flights, among others, land at Edinburgh Airport where there is an airport bus to Edinburgh-Waverley Station. There you can take the direct line to North Berwick Station (35 mins). Alternatively, North Berwick is 40 km/24ml from the airport and a North Berwick maxi-taxi can be booked to take you to North Berwick (more reasonable price than taking an airport taxi).
