This sunny, comfortable first floor flat features sitting room/dining room, and fully equipped designer kitchen and bathroom. It has three bedrooms: one with king-size double bed (which can be separated into two single beds on request!), and two with bunks. A travel cot is also available. Full central heating and oak flooring make it suitable for all seasons. Broadband connection is included in the price. Just 2 minutes walk to the wide sandy beaches, the quaint harbour (with the Scottish Seabird Centre and trips to the world famous Bass Rock), the varied shops and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. We loved the cleanliness and the comfort of the flat, the generous welcome tray, and the fact that everything we could possibly need was there. It is close to everything: the shops, the restaurants (we sampled a few and were very satisfied), the great beach(es!) – they stretch for miles, the walks in parks, along the cliffs and to the hill (“the Law”, they call it). The view from the top is breathtaking (tip: the path can be slippery on a rainy day).

Our stay at 35a Quality Street, North Berwick, was one of our best family holidays. The flat is excellently located for beaches, activities on dry days and wet. Not to mention local shops for the necessities and restaurants and cafés for treats. Even a hair style appointment. The flat is very comfortable and so well equipped - down to needle and thread. It was cool on the warm days and beds super comfortable. We have chatted about re-booking....."Nana, canwe come back next year ...." says it all.

Me and my family (husband and 2 girls) stayed at 35a for a week in September. On arrival we were early and so couldn’t access the apartment (my fault) however we did meet Sam, the cleaner who was so lovely. She gave us lots of tips about the area and told us some of the history. When we did get into the apartment I was blown away with how stunning it is. Very modern but with original features. Very clean. The beds were so comfortable! The apartment is very spacious and has everything that you would need for a short or long stay. 35a is right in the middle of town which I did worry could mean we get a lot of noise but we didn’t at all! The beach and shops are all seconds walk away. That bath!! Oh my. I’m usually a shower person on holiday but the bath is huge, you completely sink into it. My girls could almost swim in it lol. I can’t think of any negatives to be honest, if I could change anything at all, it would be - - a tv in the bedrooms would be ideal - the fridge needs a new handle - comfier seating in the living area (I’m being picky here) - safety catches on the windows for when they are open so that children are safer during warmer weather (I couldn’t see a way to secure them whilst open and they are huge windows, but I could have missed this) Despite these small points, we cannot wait to return to apartment 35a, hopefully next summer. Don’t hesitate to book - it’s truly a gorgeous place to stay and North Berwick is absolutely stunning.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review - I am sorry it has taken me so long to respond, for some reason your review did not arrive in my inbox. We have taken note of your comments, the fridge handle has been replaced - we are now on fridge handle number 8 in ten years - I really find it hard to understand why so many are broken. We are having safety catches fitted on the windows next week. A tv in the main window we will look at. Changing the seating in the living area is tricky - it has to be washable - the covers usually need changing once a month at least - and comparatively compact to fit in the sitting room - and robust - guests are often rather hard on the furniture, but we will keep your comments in mind. Had another great holiday at 35a Quality Street. Flat is in a superb location; handy for shops and restaurants, very close to harbour and beach and free car park practically on doorstep. It is equipped to a very high standard and has all the comforts of home. We were very lucky with the weather; very warm and sunny and we’re able to enjoy al fresco meals and drinks. Days were mainly spent on beach with 8 year old grandson enjoying the boating pond/pool. Also, had a very enjoyable sail on the Sula around the Bass Rock plus numerous games of putting. Enjoyed meals at Cucina Amore, No 12 and Zittos which were both steps away from the flat plus far too much ice cream from Alandas. Thoroughly recommend this property for its great location and comfort.

Excellent apartment, spacious living area and kitchen and all the facilities you need for a few days away from home. Really convenient location in centre of North Berwick, great for visiting the Seabird Centre and the beaches as well as being close to the local fish and chip shop and a variety of lovely local shops. Really enjoyed exploring the surrounding area.

Absolutely fabulous flat, the owner definitely has thought of everything. Beautiful wee town with lovely coffee shops. My grand daughter was the best customer in "sugar Mountain " a great wee old fashioned sweet shop with lovely staff. The weather was glorious too added bonus I will certainly return in the future

We can't recommend this apartment enough - clean, spacious, comfortable, very well equipped, in perfect location. Kids loved being so close to the beach, fish and chips shop and a lovely ice cream place. North Berwick is stunning! We felt really safe and relaxed there. Yellowcraig Beach is definitely worth a visit! Mandy, the owner, is extremely helpful and her replies arrive in no time at all - we appreciated it very much! Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely apartment:)

We stayed in this accommodation from 3-8 July. This flat is in a great location; minutes from the beach and High Street. It is equipped to a very high standard. Lovely bright and airy living room, fabulous kitchen with everything you need (double oven, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and plenty of crockery and glasses etc). The beds are very comfortable and plenty of storage space in the bedrooms. The bathroom has a very large walk in shower plus a bath tub. WiFi connection is great. The owners have thought of everything that is needed for your comfort during your stay plus extra cleaning is being undertaken at the moment due to COVID-19. There is free parking two minutes from the flat and a great selection of eating choices on your doorstep. North Berwick is blessed with numerous coffee shops and lovely places to purchase souvenirs from your visit. There are benches dotted around the town for you to sit and chill and people watch or enjoy a walk along the two beaches. I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation and look forward to returning at some point in the future.

A cosy well-equipped flat in a peaceful street which is close to beaches, shops, the harbour and restaurants. Don’t forget that there will be a welcome pack there including fresh milk and biscuits to give you time to settle in before going out to explore. The host is considerate and responsive. Just a great place from which we were able to enjoy lovely North Berwick and the surrounding area.

This was a cosy, well equipped apartment. We have stayed in a number of apartments in North Berwick and would highly recommend No 35a. Easy walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants.The weather for October was amazing. One thing to be aware of - they have changed the parking outside the apartment, and you can only park for 90 minutes between 8:30 and 5pm. Don't get caught out with a parking ticket.
