About the neighbourhood
Sant Pol de Mar, currently bases its economy on tourism although the hotels with large capacity are not overcrowded in it but rather dedicated to a family tourism of medium-high purchasing power. Also worth noting the pastry industry, renowned in the area. There are many houses of modernist style. Places of interest: Church of San Jaime, late Gothic style. Hermitage of San Pablo, of Romanesque style, with gothic vaults. The beaches near the house, are very quiet and little crowded. I recommend watching the video of the Town of S. Pol from a bird's eye view.
Getting around
By road: 45 km from Barcelona, 7 km Arenys de Mar coastal town, 5 km. Calella de la Costa Train: every 20 minutes there is a train to Barcelona.
