This beautiful property has everything you need for a relaxing break away from it all. The recently renovated house is ideally located in the tranquil village of Rodès just down the street from the historic church. Casa Oreneta has the most amazing panoramic views from its private terrace and wild garden area.

Rodès itself is a small village with a great restaurant and small epicerie that supplies fresh bread each day and makes it ideal for a holiday where you can just relax and forget about driving if you wish. It also has easy access to the main road between Perpignan and Andorra which allows the surrounding area to be explored very easily. This comfortable village house has everything you could possibly need for a fantastic holiday in France.The spacious open plan living area is ideal for holiday life. The recently installed modern kitchen has good quality integrated appliances making cooking a joy. The kitchen has a large slow cooker which cooks beautifully and in large quantities.

Leading off from the kitchen is a newly created sunny terrace so eating outside couldn't be easier. The dining area has a large table and comfortable chairs. In the sitting area there is a cosy log burning fire ideal for those chilly autumn evenings it also has double glazing to keep the cold out in winter and the cool in in summer. This rate includes all utilities, wifi, bed linen and towels. We do not charge an end of stay cleaning fee.

Bookings must be confirmed by payment of a 25% non-refundable deposit. The remainder of the payment should be paid four weeks prior to arrival.

Payments can be made direct to our English or French accounts in euros or sterling. We also accept Paypal which allows secure payment by credit or debit card. Other currencies and payment methods can be accepted. (Admin charges may apply).

About the neighbourhood
Rodes is a very peaceful village typical of the region with the local church, boules court and tennis courts. It also benefits from having a great restaurant and small grocery store.

Rodès has many interesting and beautiful walks, taking in the gorges, Roman aqueduct, swimming in the river, the abandoned village of Ropidera and the hermitage of Domanova. The local history and natural environment have been the main attraction for us over the years!

A recent addition to the village is a centre where you can hire Quad bikes and go trekking around the area. Also, at the entrance to the village, housed in an old chateau is a new Tourist information office.

The nearest main towns are Ille-sur-Tet and Prades which are both just a few kilometres away.
