IMAGINE....a private luxurious casita on a pristine, secluded white sand beach, warm azure waters, offshore reefs, fantastic fishing, tropical evenings with the moon rising over the Sea of Cortez. Casita Luna Azul is approximately fourteen miles south of the Tropic of Cancer on the Sea of Cortez in beautiful Baja Mexico. Luna Azul is located on a point of land approximately six miles south of Los Frailes bay. Bahia Los Frailes is adjacent to the pristine Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park. Beautiful secluded getaway!
Looking for a secluded vacation? Located just south of Cabo Pulmo, we were charmed by this delightful casita with beach access, kayaks, and snorkeling and diving nearby. The kitchen will entice you to stay in and cook, but there are restaurants just 20 minutes away. We will return!

Tranquilo and Beautiful Casita
Such a wonderful time my wife and I had on the east cape staying in this casita... we were at first concerned we might be too far off the grid, but we took a chance and we were SO glad that we did. It's 14 miles off the pavement on a well graded dirt road, right on the beach and so quiet and relaxed. There's beautiful reef right infront of the house great fishing, some super laid back but good restaurants in cabo pulmo just up the road. If you're looking to RELAX and get away, this might be just the casita for you. Also kayaks included so fun they are in great shape and good quality ocean going models... the winds were a little intense most days in Feb but a couple of days the sea laid down enough to paddle out. Fausto and Mina were great and attentive caregivers for the property. Thank you for everything we hope to be back!

How to get there
A rental car is essential. Its best to get something with high ground clearance as part of the journey is on a dirt road and there can be ruts. You will be met at the car rental office at the airport by Salomon who will accompany you to stock up on groceries etc and them lead you out to the property where our caretaker will be waiting.
