The perfect location to experience the sounds of the jungle while having a partial oceanview of Drake Bay!
The villa is huge with 4 beds and plenty of space to put your luggage with spacious bathroom with a shower.
The outdoor deck is the best part of the villa as our family loves the jungle, wildlife, and the sounds of birds, monkeys, and other animals that you can't see in the jungle!
We had our daily "wake up call' to the sounds of the howler monkeys every morning.
We had many perfect photo opportunities of macaws flying, toucans sitting in trees near the deck and in the jungle, and many other species of birds.
The flowers that grow around the deck and property are beautiful!
On the deck is 2 comfortable Adirondack chairs, table with 4 wood stools, large bench that seats 4, hammock to relax in, and clothesline in the patio area to dry your clothes.
If you want to save money on meals there is a full kitchen with stove, refrigerator and freezer, plates, utensils, and hand towels.
Another HUGE plus is they have a washing machine adjacent to the kitchen.
You can't drink the tap water in Drake Bay so there is also a water jug cooler. When the water ran out we would ask Emilio if we can get a new one which he gladly provided.
The location of the villa are near other villas and homes and only a 10 minute walk to the ocean. Along your walk there are several grocery stores, restaurants, and a gift shop.
The cost to stay there nightly is a great price for comfortable, fun family vacation!
Emilio also does a night tour exploring the jungle for 2.5 hours. He provides flashlights, boots as you walk through shallow rivers while Emilio is constantly looking for wildlife. We were able to see eyelash pit viper snake, other snakes large and small, a hummingbird nest, many frogs, and an acoustic which is nocturnal and are found in the trees. Emilio has lived here his whole life so he explains all about the wildlife, the area, and past tours where he saw different animals.
This vacation provided us so much fun, excitement, beauty, nature, hiking, and Emilio booking other tours as well as getting us a taxi to the airport!
We can't wait to go back to Drake Bay and stay at Emilio's villa or Vista Drake Lodge!
