About the neighbourhood
Argentina’s third-largest city, with a population of over a million, Rosario is a port city situated on the Parana River. The smallish population and position on the water ensure that the ‘Rosarinos,’ as the locals are known, are a bit more laid back and outdoorsy than their Buenos Aires counterparts.
There are some lovely walks along Rosario’s 15k Costanera, or riverfront, where visitors can get some exercise, sip some mate and gaze upon the water.
An important Rosario monument is the National Flag Memorial, with its ornate tower overlooking an expansive courtyard, all of which is easily accessible on foot and offers great photo opportunities, or just a nice place to mill around with the locals.

There are small grocery stores and supermarket in San Lorenzo st. There´s also a Delicatessen to get food to go in the corner of San Lorenzo and Maipu.
The biggest supermarket you can find at a walking distance is La Gallega, in Urquiza between Sarmiento and San Martin.

How to get there
At only 250 mts. there´s a bust stop that connects downtown with the bus station, bus lines such as 101 and 102 will be the best choices.
Getting from/to the Airport by bus takes around 1 hour. The 115 bus will take you straight from the Airport. If you are coming from the Airport you´ll hop off the bus in intersection of San Luis and Laprida Street.
You can also choose a taxi or “remis” which is equivalent to a driver.
