Charming furnished and equipped apartment for temporary rent in Argentina, located in the prestigious Recoleta neighbourhood, few meters away from Callao Avenue where you can take a lot of buses. It is very close to the Recoleta Cemetery, Patio Bullrich Shopping Center (exclusive brands only), Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, French Square, a spectacular place with a complete fair of crafts and a lot of places where you can enjoy delicious dishes and drinks. This beautiful apartment is very luminous, warm and silently, has wooden floors and european furniture. Comparto plenamente la opinión de Willtraveltoronto, estuve hospedada desde el 11/03/17 al 17/03/17 y me retiré porque Metrogas (empresa proveedora de gas) lo clausuró!!!!, ya que estaba en riesgo la seguridad y salud de mi familia. Alquilé éste depto por la críticas que tenía en éste sitio y en Airbnb, No teníamos agua caliente porque el calefón se apagaba a cada rato y el propietario incumplió lo pactado, la empresa lo clausuró por las deficiencias en los artefactos de gas y por pérdida de gas en la cañería interna. El propietario no reconoce la falta y hasta el momento ni mención de reembolso de lo que pagué. El depto tiene 2 dormitorios (no 3), los muebles son viejos, los sillones ya no tienen relleno y los resortes afloran. Es bastante largo de detallar todo, las personas que quieren mas detalles y fotos pueden ponerse en contacto conmigo.

Señora, el departamento desde hace años es 100% eléctrico. La cocina, el termotanque y todo el resto de elementos que pueden llevar gas, son de operación eléctrica. No se de donde saca lo que dice, pero claramente no tiene ninguna lógica. El departamento tiene 3 dormitorios, todos cerrados y con su puerta propia. Los muebles son de estilo, por caso Luis XIV. Los sillones son retapizados a nuevo señora... A esta altura creo que usted se equivoca de departamento, o bien tiene algún problema personal.

Desperately needs sprucing up
The best thing about this apartment is the location for all the reasons stated in the listing. It gets full marks for that.
Where the listing is misleading, though, is it says it has 3 bedrooms/for 6 guests. In fact it has two bedrooms, each with a double/queen bed, plus 2 single beds placed in what was the dining corner of the living room where there is no privacy from the rest of the apartment.
To be honest, I can't imagine 4 people sharing this apartment, never mind 6, as there is only room for 2 people to eat at the only table which is in the small, minimally equipped kitchen. And there is really only one comfortable chair to sit in in the living room (beyond an upright chair and a shabby old two seater who's springs have sprung. The full bathroom (there is a half bathroom as well with toilet & sink) has no bath, just a shower which desperately needs a new shower head. The bedroom windows rattle in the wind. The air con units are old and so loud you couldn't possibly sleep with them on. The balcony is a bonus, but it has nothing on it, no table or chairs, not even a plant and it's pretty grubby. In fact the whole place needed a really really, good clean. What a shame. It could be a great spot but as of Nov. 2013, when we were there, this apartment was badly in need of care and attention.

From time to time, you find people that even when they ask for favors, and you honor them, still they ask for more. I really liked these couple of white hair ladies, they remembered my grandmother. I thought they were kind and nice. I also like them even now, after they gave the apartment the lowest rating in 5 years.
Everything is fixed and clean. You can read the other reviews (also the apartment has more than 30 positive on airbnb).
Sorry that we have no plants. It is kind of difficult when you have an apartment that sees more than 200 people a year.
I guess you can't get everybody happy. But then again, I am going to keep trying one more time.

Great Location
A very nice place to stay with everything you need near the building. The conserge and the owner wonderful people to deal with. We had a very happy experience although bathroom time was hard for 5 people because there is only 1 full bathroom and a 1/2 bathroom.I was very surprised the 3 full bathroom was not in used.

Clean and spacious!
Chelo was a super friendly host, and easily reached when I had any questions. Also, he met us at the apartment when we arrived and explained all about the facilities etc. The apartment itself was clean and neat, and is placed in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, which was perfect as I and my two collegues were in town for a conference.
All in all, it was excellent stay!

Very good
Location is great; walking distance to everything. Chelo was very nice and always answered promptly; always willing to be of service. The apartment has a lot of light and it is comfortable for four people. The main bathroom is small, The second one is a powder toilet but newer. The heating system did make noise at night which was a bit disturbing. Overall, it is a very good apartment in a nice building at a great location.

Great location, friendly service!
This apartment is located in the heart of Buenos aires and is right next to the bus-stops, supermarkets, laundry and atms. It was clean, comfortable and well-furnished. The owner - Chelo - is extremely friendly and helpful and is so quick to respond to mails, messages and queries. We kloved our stay here and would strongly recommend this place

Chelo is the real deal
Highly recommended. Place is clean, secure, beautifully located, quiet.
If ever we're back in Buenos aires and if the place is available, that's where we're staying.

Great apartment in a great neighborhood in the heart of Buenos a
This is a great 3-bedroom, fully furnished apartment in one of the best neighborhoods in Buenos aires. Easy walk, or quick cab ride to anywhere in the city. The owner Chelo was very helpful and very accomodating. I will stay there the next time I get the opportunity to visit that beautiful city.

Recoleta is a trully european and luxurious neighborhood that is packed with elegant restaurants, outdoor cafes, bars, and a cinema complex that is the biggest and best in Argentina.
