Gorgeous winery stay in the heart of the Winelands
Beautiful place to stay! It’s on a working winery and has all the amenities- a stocked kitchen, WiFi, pool, and outdoor fireplace etc. Elanie was an a very responsive host and helped out immediately when we had questions and sent some great recommendations when we arrived. The staff was also very helpful and friendly, even helped my husband carry our luggage to the room.

The cottage is situated on a historic wine estate set on the Helshoogte Pass in Stellenbosch. Various restaurants just a stone throw away. Explore both delicious dining and wine tasting at nearby estates and restaurants in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. The Bartinney Estate Tasting Shed is open from Monday - Thursday, 12-5pm, Saturday 12-3pm and Friday 12-8pm. It is a popular spot for sundowner drinks and nibbles on the stunning terrace, on Friday evenings.

You can use taxi services, Uber, or feel free to rent a car (Cape Town, or Stellenbosch). Central Stellenbosch is 15 minutes away from the estate, whilst Franschoek is 30 minutes away.
